Food was interesting but only ok. Bread was good. Other dishes were quite salty. The tuna was cooked well but sauce was overly seasoned. Lamb was not too bad but curry needs a bit more kick.
WOW ! What an amazing food & wine experience. We booked same day on the back of a reccomendation & didn’t know what to expect as we hadn’t done any research prior to visiting. We are so glad that we did as the meal & service was fantastic. I believe the owner served us at points throughout the evening. His knowledge was out of this world & his clear passion for what he does made the experience even more memorable. The rest of the team were so kind and efficient too. Highly recommend!
Otherness we’re kind enough to fit us in after a winery we booked had a blackout- the service was really good and attentive. The tasting menu at $70 had such fresh produce, was good portions and had a variety of choices on the menu that I really wanted to try- like the lamb and fish. Thanks again to the staff that day!
Stopped in for a late lunch on Friday when most places were not serving at that in between time of day. Although the full menu was not available we really enjoyed the offerings and wine. Service was friendly and the venue is a stunning cut above most. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours in Angaston and we bought an Otherness bottle of Riesling to enjoy back at our hotel!
