Went here for lunch during the week after hearing good reports about it. In short, the reports were totally correct. On arrival the place has a very Italian feel situated on a hill with good views and with olive trees around the main building. Inside there is a tasting area and a restaurant and outside there verandas that have grape vines on the overhead structures which continued there very Italian feel. There was a set menu of four courses. Each course was an absolute delight. I cannot say enough as to how good I thought the food was. It was very well presented and explained by the wait staff who by the way were great. The cost of the meal was $95 per head without wine pairings.
Chilling space with tasty meal, we spend a lovely noon here. The impressed one is Jeffy not sure the spell is correct, the star dog of the winery.
Seriously some of the best food I have had in Tasmania or anywhere in Australia. These chefs are complete guns with a menu and execution to die for. I am already planning a lunch there on my return to Tassie.
Beautiful Italian lunch at Stefano Lubiana. I am so grateful that we were able to secure a table here at Osteria Vista while visiting the Stefano Lubiana winery recently. Very impressed with what head chef Jeff Workman and the team had on their menu that day. The food was incredible! Simple, delicious and beautiful to look at. I absolutely love bread, and their wood fired bread is TO-DIE-FOR and I would happily choose this as my last meal on Earth There wasn't a dish that I didn't love- everything was great! All of the staff were lovely and welcoming. Looking forward to returning again one day when visiting Tassie
Earlier this month we held our wedding at Stefano Lubiana and Osteria. The food and service was absolutely divine, and all of our guests raved about the menu. Isabella and her team were incredible to work with, and made the planning of an interstate wedding a total breeze. The service in particular by restaurant and bar staff was 10/10. They were incredibly attentive, and made everyone feel so welcome and special. We look forward to coming back for a meal every year
As from NZ, I am totally thankful this place was recommended to us by Emma. A stunning setting on a spectacular summers day. Delicious Italian food on a set menu. Just a great way to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The wait staff were very informative, friendly and made our experience a pleasant one. Truly a place to go.Food: 5/5

Stunning spot, with amazing set menu lunch. Paired wines are a must. Food was crazy good. That bread! The main waitress/host was phenomanal, made the experience lovely. This place is a must if your in the area and can book in.

I was thrilled when Nicholas called me to say that there was availability for us to join for lunch today. Having been highly recommended, Stefano Lubiana Wines was our first choice when visiting southern Tasmania. We were not surprised that they were fully booked with long waitlists. The experience lived up to the recommendations - and in fact, exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional, plentiful and accompanied with complex and very enjoyable chardonnay - but most importantly, we were served by a delightful young lady who explained all the dishes to us. The vista and the ambience are first rate, and we commend the Team producing such high quality and service. Our afternoon there was slightly interrupted by an extremely rude group of men - who were determined to publicly bully our hostess. To her credit, she remained composed and professional. These men who felt they have some entitlement and authority over her made absolute fools of themselves. Go girl. You got this. If you can, treat yourself to Stefano's Osteria, you will be pleased you did....and make sure you compliment the hostess.
