I have to start out by saying I am the most flakey hair client, or I was, before I meet Emily at Oscar Oscar - but now i try so much harder to take care of my hair and look forward to my visits. From the first time I met her she was warm, knowledgeable, talented and patient with all my questions and I have lots of questions!. She's taken my hair from a "meh red" to gorgeous copper that gets more compliments than I've ever had! I appreciate how she listens to my concerns and works together with me to make a plan that will work for my life style and needs. I can't say enough positive things about her and the other team members and stylists at Oscar Oscar indooroopilly who are always lovely to deal with. I am so so happy with my experience. I went in to have my colour corrected after I got some striped highlights at another salon and the whole team was so kind and made me feel really special. My hairdresser was fantastic, and completely understood my desires and made a plan. I am so impressed by everyone’s service and kindness. My hair looks and feels so much better and I am thrilled. I’ve been seeing Amelia at Oscar Oscar indro for around 10 months now, and she has been nothing short of amazing! She is so attentive, kind, and very detail oriented whenever she cuts my hair! Today I went in to get a massive chunk of length cut off, and Amelia was fantastic throughout the entire process! There are hair cuts, and then there is the heavenly experience of your hair being treated like priceless strands of jewels, and you yourself being treated like a sadly temporarily appointed royalty. Thanks to Emilia, I left Oscar Oscar with beautifully trimmed and lovingly treated hair, and my whole being feeling relaxed the head and neck massage is just a must have experience, and very much uplifted. We have had many appointments with Oscar Oscar over the years and as a rule always good.   However yesterday, my daughter had an appointment at the Indooroopilly at 11.30 with the stylist we always see   She has having half a head of foils.  The stylist did the foils in about 30 minutes.  My daughter left the salon at 4.15, nearly five hours!    The booked stylist saw her only once in that time where she came to the basin to comment that it looked blonde! It was not a good experience at all.  Too much to write.   We won’t be back in a hurry.   $430!!

This place really went down the drain after Justin left. I used to go here every few months for a treatment, hair cut and styling by a "master stylist". While this was pricier than almost every other option around, it was always worth it because I received a very high-quality experience and my haircut was done with great skill and attention to detail and he really took his time to make sure everything is perfect. After he left I had been referred to other staff with the same skill level allegedly but there is just no comparison. I still pay $200+ for the whole experience but now receive a rushed choppy job that I could get for a quarter of the price elsewhere. I really don't see how a 10 minute wet cut, then a blowout and two snips off my dry hair can be considered a master stylist experience worth that price tag. Oscar and Oscar used to stand for quality and class in my eyes but this drop in work quality plus the "valley girl" aesthetic they are going for on social media is giving the brand a tacky vibe.Services:&nbsp;Curly hair

1st time at indroopily store. Previous visit in cdb Brisbane. Advised to use my notes from cdd store for colour. After visit colour no way near right. Advised  stylist I wanted shorter hair showed picture of previous cut. I advised I needed cut that was manageable. No need to spend time styling. I suffer from health issues. Looked fnice after major hair style. Off course done by a hairdresser. Hair is not maintainable.  One of top 3 worst.  Advised salon about colour. Told them I could not do Thursday nights. Would not even offer time for Saturday. Received call that my stylist Emily does not work there any more. Though happy to brag she loved working there. Hence lost $330.00. Firstly, I must commend the incredible staff at this establishment, who truly exhibit a remarkable level of warmth and kindness. Regrettably, my overall experience was somewhat marred due to a noticeable lack of communication which impacted the service.  Initially, I had assigned a two-star rating, but decided to upgrade it to three, largely due to a conversation with Laura , who showed commendable initiative and a sincere concern for customer satisfaction. Her outreach, characterized by genuine gentleness and curiosity, compelled me to reconsider my initial evaluation.  I won't delve into the specifics behind my initial dissatisfaction, because following my discussion with Laura, I am inclined to view it as an isolated incident, and not indicative of the establishment's usual modus operandi.  Believing in the power of second chances and continual improvement, I intend to revisit Oscar Oscar. I'm hopeful for a better experience, after all every business deserves the opportunity to learn from feedback and make improvements.Service:&nbsp;Hairstyling

Edit: In an effort to be completely transparent, the salon contacted me after my initial review see original comment below and offered to fix my hair, free of charge which I happily accepted. Kirra was able to correct my colour which I’m very thankful for so I have adjusted the star rating to 4.  Original comment: I spent nearly $500 on a colour and cut at Oscar Oscar Indooroopilly which was honestly the biggest waste of money in my entire life.  The cut was fine. The girl that cut my hair did a great job, it was just a trim so no big deal. The colourist however, oh my lord, wow, for nearly $500 and that was after a student discount it honestly was so disappointing. I had lots of regrowth and asked for a very light and bright blonde. My hair takes dye easily and I made it very clear that I wanted the final result to be quite blonde, so I’m sure what happened! I showed a picture and made it very clear.  It’s now honey blonde/dark blonde if you can call it that. And barely looks any different. I should’ve just used a box dye.  Go here for a trim, sure but don’t waste your money on getting your hair coloured. It is honestly the most disappointing result I’ve ever had at the hairdressers. I honestly cried when I got home.

Hands down, the very best hair salon I’ve used. Staff are well trained and know hair. I was treated like a VIP. I’ll be returning.
