I hired Ola to do a table for our Gender Reveal a huge event for us with it being our first baby. I told Ola I like the idea of how a graze table has a whole bunch of items displayed closely together but for my Gender Reveal I wanted a table that had items closely together but it to reflect my inspo pic attached by the pool. I wanted it to be sweet and salty foods displayed elegantly. Some items I suggested were tea sandwiches, pink and blue cupcakes, chicken and waffle on a stick, and some pastries as ideas. Ola said she could do that and never once mentioned she would not make it herself. The table ended up being items that were mainly store bought!! Also, the sandwiches she had displayed had deli meat in it, and with being pregnant I could not eat them. I had guests come from out of state for our Gender Reveal party and had I known she was going create a table like that I would not have hired her at all.
We continue to patronize O's Kitchen Catering and the quality remains the same with foods bursting with flavor, excellent and exotic tastes. Chef Ola goes above and beyond and comes highly recommended.
Excellent service! From the pre-event tasting to the final show, Chef Ola was timely, and professional. She also provided little wedding “pearls” for me as I planned our wedding. The food was delicious and tasteful presented! She has lifelong customers in my husband and I.
Ola and her team served at my wedding on May 6th. The Nigerian Jollof was ok; too spicy and a little hard. The green beans was over cooked and even looked shriveled. I had a problem with Food presentation , portion size, then the salad. Iceberg are you kidding me. For anyone looking to book her ask these questions I wasn’t made known about or properly communicated; Ask for a tastingtough lesson, ask for the actual portion size at the wedding, ask for food presentation no matter if it’s buffet or plated, ask if it’s ok to bring an additional caterer or have a different caterer to separately serve items you intend to add for your guest, ask if a dessert station will be ok so she doesn’t play a “liability” on my insurance game or she will trash those extras that wasn’t from her. Just like she did with mine. In all outline exactly your expectation and have her spend the budget for food not holding back for profit margins. WE CANT RUN BUSINESS CHEAP!!
