So tasty and such a good service! We all loved the food. The meats are made on charcoal and are D E L I C I O U S!!!!!!! Everything was very fresh. Sorry if the pictures do not show the plates when arrived but we could not wait : Really recommend.
Fairly average to say the least. Partners meal came out well before mine, salad was not fresh, meat was dry, and the "guacamole" was not. My rissole souvlaki was bland and dry. Service bad.
Had the meat platter and the bread which was soft and fluffy. Mixed meat platter was enough to share which is always a good start. Great service and value. Will be back to try the others on offer. Parking: Lots parking available in the square across the road
Terrible service. Asked for Lamb, got mixed. When i complained, they made out it was my fault. I never eat Chicken gyro. Also staff's attitudes are rude. If i could give a ZERO i would. Shop around, so many other food places to pick from. Kalimera few doors up, as well as so many in Eaton Mall.
It is always a pleasure travelling down to Oakleigh for a great cup of coffee and biscuits. Orexi has a cosy family interior that is welcoming. My husband and I sampled the souvlaki and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place thank you Orexi, we will be back!
Have been going to this restaurant for years. Still high standard on quality portion sizes. Less crowded area worth the visit.
We were there at greek easter every food shop was busy on the day was told it was a 20 minute wait and that was fine with us even wait 40 minutes would've been ok but this is how my wife received her Hellenic Chicken snack pack...we didn't want to make a fuss on the day but whoever was looking after the meats should be sacked...
Ordered a souvlaki and a bowl of chips. The souvlaki was good but chips were barely edible, oily, covered in salt and burnt in parts. Definitely not steak fries.
Best lamb gyros in Oakleigh...Been coming here for many , many years. Well before they moved from the corner of Eaton st mall. Great chips too and Greek soft drinks. Love it.
Visited again today, Nov 2021. What an absolute delight! Traditional lamb souvlaki to die for. The lamb is cooked over Charcoal and you can taste the difference it makes! Chips were fresh, well cooked and a generous size. What I particularly like was that I went in to order 4 souvlaki and the girl behind the counter suggested I get the family pack which included a large chips and was cheaper that buying the 4 souvlaki on their own. This care towards the customer is something I adore and I haven't encountered in a long time. Great place, give it a visit!
