It used to be a really nice place but a few years ago it changed management and it became average. Still in a nice sandstone building, great location and overall feel.

Pros: - toast portion was big, three big slices. Cons: - no attention to detail. No jam was supplied, then when asked for they gave me half a teaspoon of jam for three big pieces of toast. - I went to the toilet through the kitchen and there was a guy frying eggs and stacking them in a bowl. I can only guess they are to go on breakfasts at a later date My wife likes the coffee, I do not. So I guess the coffee is a neutral verdict! It feels like this could be a great cafe but I feel that the staff do not have a real understanding of what nice finishing touches are. 3 out of 5.
