Great and affordable place to rent a car in Brisbane, it's the secret place where all exchange students get their cars from for weekend trips. I rented 5 times here in the last months, always a good experience, cars in good condition and many of them efficient hybrids.nCustomer service is good as well, always somebody answering the phone if you have questions.
Have a good look at the front tyre of the toyota yaris which my partner rented. The car was driven from Brisbane to Rainbow Beach and back with our 1 year old daughter. Luckily it did not rain as we did not notice this until afterwards. The tyre is so worn it is very dangerous to drive on. This means the vehicles are not inspected. Not good.
For everyone FYI: this budget unfriendly car rental company DOES NOT include any car insurance regardless the car damaged isn’t due to your fault. Finger crossed you return the car in same condition as you pick up. However the paperwork policy does include third party damage, and the staff advises us there is none and we have to cover full amountnnOverall headache dealing with them, I don’t recommend, and the prices are not that cheaper compared to other car bigger rental companies.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your company.nnI had reserved a truck earlier in the week and received a confirmation email. However, when I arrived to pick up the truck, I was informed that it had been given to someone else. I was not notified of this cancellation in advance, either by email or text message.nnI understand that mistakes can happen, but I was disappointed by the way the situation was handled. The employee who assisted me was dismissive and spoke to me in a condescending manner. She claimed that I would have recieved a confirmation email if it was booked, which I then showed her.nShe then said after that email they had tried to call and left a voicemail message, but I did not listen to the message before arriving. I would of however seen a text or email.nnAs a result of this incident, I was forced to scramble to find a truck from another company, which wasted a significant amount of my time.nnI hope that you will take steps to ensure that this type of situation does not happen again, and nobody else has their time wasted because of the ineffective procedures in place.nnIf you are reading this and this has happened to you, I am sorry, I have provided more than enough help on how they can resolve this from happening further.
Good range of cars and vans within reasonable prices, but don't go there unless your booking is confirmed and call them too. They will need to update and automate their booking system.
