I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, thanks to the fantastic staff member. The highlight was when my friend requested to combine our tables into one long table, and the staff made it happen smoothly. They had to cancel our original order for the separate tables, but when the staff retook our order, she didn't just ask; she politely confirmed what we wanted. I was impressed by how well she remembered each person's order. The food presentation was excellent, and all the staff members were very friendly and respectful. I hope the restaurant manager recognises the hard work of this team member. We were delighted with the service and will definitely recommend this place to our friends. We will definitely be coming back.
The food here was delicious and the atmosphere was super nice. Very spacious but lacking decor in the dining area. The toilets were dirty, there were 3 bins full of tissue paper, used pad on the floor. The menus had grime on them. Don’t order cocktails, they don’t fill the glasses and are 90% ice, alcohol measurements aren’t consistent between drinks.nnStaff were absolutely lovely and accomodating
Edited:nCame back here and brought some friends and unfortunately the foods were disappointing. My prawn garlic was just ok, nothing to rave about. I asked for it to come with cooked vegs on the side. Whilst they cooked the prawns and veggies well, and I appreciated the variety of vegs and the portion of prawns and vegs, the prawn sauce was just ok. It’s creamy and heavy but cant say it’s the best garlic prawn i have had. Veggies were not seasoned much. Husband ordered the Mexican wood fired parma but it was bland and dry and we couldn’t see what was so special about wood fired then. The good things from today was the friendly waiter we had at beginning and also their coffee and white hot chocolate were nice. I have the feeling they aren’t consistent with the foods because last time I was here with friends and they ordered the garlic prawns and it looked quite different. But yea just sad, i thought it’s my go to restaurant in Croydon but not anymore.nnIt’s a big place but rather spacey, not filled much in terms of furnitures or decorations, feels empty and sad. Their menu is big. Tried their carbonara and it was one of the best one I have had. Quite impressed, will come back another time. Also saw they sell gelato, good to know for next time.
First time visiting Ora D’ora in Croydon, food was very nice good sized portions enough to fill the belly, but not too much you can’t eat. Lamb shanks cooked perfectly with the veggies cooked just right.nService was really good the waitresses were very polite, definitely coming back.
Had a generous Big Breakfast at Ora d’Oro - perfectly cooked scrambles eggs, crispy bacon, and fresh sides, all served in a warm, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. The smooth, rich coffee was also a standout. Good value for money!
