Previously: "Had an excellent experience today with my man, Zoro. Very friendly, very helpful, and had all the bases covered with getting my phone sent off for a warranty job. Cool name too, by the way." Well 4 months later and I have to update this now that my account is finally closed. I switched from Optus to a smaller company to save money since I didn't notice any increase in reliability of service by choosing the big one. I still had some of my contract left to pay out so I called up and requested a payment plan to make it easier for me. After talking with the financial team we came to an agreement of $100/month until it was paid off. After the first month passes I get my new bill with a $15 late fee. Second month, another $15. And then a call from debt collectors saying that if I don't pay soon they're going to sue me. In the interest of making it all just go away I paid the final amount in full immediately after that phone call, emptying my savings of all I had.. But that wasn't the end of it A few weeks later I get a bill, previous balance minus this payment is zero... PLUS a late fee brings it back up to $15. They lied about a payment plan even existing, charged me more money because I didn't have enough money to pay them (makes total sense) and threatened to sue after an agreement was made that I stuck to. It's immoral and deplorable behaviour that is likely to only get worse as the duopoly of Telstra and Optus grows bigger. Please note my star rating is for the company itself, and the staff at this particular store were not at fault. I sincerely hope they get treated better than their customers do

If you're going here take a chair and lunch, they passed us off to 3 different people over nearly an hour to organise a simple repair.

Absolutely the worst service at Garden City Optus. Staff are rude and the store manager was so bitchy and took 45 min to be seen on a Tuesday. Optus pick up you customer service game far out!!!

very very bad customers service never seen like this and also had very bad experience with optus. now joined virgin very good customers service and very helpful and much cheap then optus. good by optus i will recommend virgin to all my friends...
