Quick and delicious food. Good portion and reasonable price too. Very Korean vibe. Been here a few times already and will come back for more.
Where the more affordable korean fried chicken is. For single people like me, their $9.50 fried chicken is enough. Add rice or some tteobokki then all good, done. Over the years tho, I have noticed that the serving is becoming less and/or the chicken is less on meat. Nonetheless, I’d still go back for the affordability and good single serving portion.
ORDERED: Beef Bulgogi Stone bibimbap $17.80 Bongbong $3.50 REVIEW: Appreciate the bibimbap here at Oppa. It's got a good selection of sides like carrots, bean sprouts, radish, mushroom and more! Which makes it mixing up all the more fun. However with the price and nature of establishment it's a bit basic. The sides aforementioned are barely seasoned, so you really make it up by dousing your dish with their mixed gochujang-based sauce. In a hot bowl, your food comes warmer. There's also the opportunity for the rice to crisp up! My friend got the curry and unfortunately - he felt like it was cold . Oppa is still a great affordable place to eat, down swanston street. Nothing mindblowing though.
Got the stone bowl bibimbap. Big serving but there was no toasty rice which was the point of geting the stone pot. Fried chicken was good, got the soy garlic flavourFood: 3/5
The location was right in the middle of Melbourne CBD, very convenient. They offer a wide range of Korean foods including street food. The price was okay, note that they have surcharge for card users.
This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Mouth watering foods, Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. The best korean restaurant i ever had!
Need to pay 10% surcharge on Sunday, never knew that rule before Didn’t show outside until you pay at counter. The size is a little bit less, but enough for us. Taste is good, also the staff were friendly.
Ordered Bibimbap and curry rice. The order came out very quickly. But was disappointed with croquette being cold which was served with the curry rice. Other than that everything was good.
Their bibimbab was so flavorful with that sizzling of the hot stone other dishes are also very nice with good potion and reasonable price. Service by the staff was also great, very welcoming and bright!
This 3stars for customer service, the staff members were really good but food really disappointed me tteokbokki was so bad and drumpling really made me cry pork bulgogi was not bad but the quantity was less than other korean restaurant and the plates looks so gross.
