Burger fillet is burnt you can see how black the fillet is on the photo paid nearly $20 for a triple Bondi burger meal the chips were not good burger was not fresh waste of money.
Worst Oporto I have ever had, first of all the service was bad, the girl at front was too busy chasing and flirting with staff at the back yelling in their language, second the store had a strong smell of curry, and finally the chicken fillets on my burger were extremely dry and cold. I should of followed my suspicions and just left but I have never had any issues with Oporto before usually can’t go wrong with the burgers but this time I was wrong it was terrible like cardboard dry.
Staff were friendly, food was yummy. I like how they get your name for an order - feels more personal than other fast-food services. I got the pulled chicken bowl meal and the portion size was great, healthy and filling
Feel I should really go through the reviews here first, ordered from Uber eats, they open at 10 but on the app says open at 9, so I order around 9:15 but got delivery at 10:40. The quality of food is so bad ….. barely see these kinda soft chips …. And the burger didn’t have any sauce in, very tasteless. Not feel good to give a bad review but feel I should, in case others have same experience .
Chips luke-warm and soggy, and seemingly unsalted. There was merely the memory of chilli on the burger, despite selecting a chilli Bondi burger. Burger was barely hot in heat. Food took 40 minutes to come. And finally extreme issues with the website and the service of the St Leonards staff as I will explain: Initially ordered online via the Oporto website. Website clearly gave options of "pick up" and "delivery" on multiple steps of the ordering process. I selected "delivery" as I was not in a position to pick up. At some point during the ordering process, the site defaulted to pick up. My fault for not double checking - the order went through as a pick up order. I immediately called this store, seeking guidance. The store manager stated that it was impossible for me to get a refund, impossible to cancel the order, and impossible to convert the order to a delivery order. His solution was to come and pick up the order, which I explained was not possible. He further claimed the only way I could get a refund was to attend the store - also not possible. The only way I could get food without paying for my order twice was to place an Uber Eats order for a small item that I did not need, and have it delivered. My primary meal was then sent via Uber Eats, arriving an exorbitant amount of time later.
Burgers had barely any sauce in it. Was tasteless and bland. The worst Oporto's burgers we've had. Gave 2 stars because the chips were good.
I went to get extremo sauce there! it was just a sauce. Only one third of the sauce container was full. I asked team member about quantity as chatswood westfield oporto used to have a bit more! Her reply was "Quantity depends on store" but oporto menu says 25g of sauce. Stop trying to save money from sauce try to get good customer satisfaction. *1 star for 1$ sauce*
Love the chicken qtr box and Bondi burger . My go to food joint .
Over-priced and with poor portion size. I paid $12.95 for the Bondi Strip Meal, thinking that would have been a decent sized meal: the burgers both bun and fillings seem to have gotten smaller over the years from Oporto, just a handful of chips and 2 tiny strips of chicken, plus a small bottle of drink and dipping sauce. The table I sat at was sticky - do your staff ever properly clean the tables? The upstairs eating area is so noisy due to the poor choice of chairs, tables, floor surface and lack of acoustic considerations, also it seemed quite warm up there - is the air-con working? The staff at the counter were quite polite though, just didn't very interested in being there. Sorry, but you need to improve your game!
I am surprised at how this store managed to score such a low rating on google. I guess sole people can’t accept the fact that during busy hours, food needs to be rushed! Or it will take a while. I guess those people are also the ones saying “why is my food taking so long” while the staff are busy cutting up thief food into more then 4 pieces. Personally, during busy times and quiet, I have never had a bad experience and I will continue to buy my lunch here!
