Spent a good $80 on dinner after driving all day and the $19 omelette was not even half a plastic container- it is daylight robbery! All chicken dishes were beef, and I wish I researched before we walked there. Horrible experience- go anywhere but!
I love Chinese food and this is the worst I've ever had. Soup was tasteless beef chewy as hide king prawn omelette dry with 4 prawns only rice well just horrible.
Pricy and taste terrible. I’m from China, this is the most horrible Chinese food I ever eat in my entire life. They fail every detail in the worst way.
The food was good. We had fried rice and prawn with seasonal mixed vegetables. Staff were friendly. We didn’t get knives to cut our food??? Nice overall
Not a fan at all. Satay beef sauce was chunky and resembled a oily thick gravy. Beef was tender though. Fried rice was ok but again very oily. Service left alot to be desired - they stood in kitchen peering through curtain saying yes can i help you. Waiting area was boiling hot. Honestly there are significantly better places to eat at. Opal city chinese restaurant please lift your game.
Ate here the other night. Beef masaman was tender but no flavour. Also chicken satay with peanut sauce seemed covered with a flavourless curry sauce. Very expensive and dreadful meal. Will take me a long time to order Chinese again.
The owner was not polite. Food was ok. When i had a meal fried rice & chicken mongolian- no other starter or dessert, it cost me around $35. Bad overall experience
We called in today Monday at 12:45 for lunch. The board at the front said lunch from 11:00 to 1:30. They said they were about to close so we could only order takeaway. If they don't want our business, fine by us. We drove off.
Really tasty, fresh meal! We were the only folk in the restaurant tonight, but given top quality hospitality on a quiet night. The meals were perfectly sized and filling. Not sure why others have said their meals were small, perhaps they're use to a massive serve of chips... Anyhow, we were overwhelmed by the lovely service and delicious, authentic meals! Thanks for having us.
Spend over $100 for 4 kids sized dishes, don't feel full and the taste was @-#&€&. Shouldn't take advantage of being the only Chinese in town and rip people off. Don't stop there go somewhere else.
