I signed up for Intro to Improv because I heard improv classes were good for improving communication skills. The funny thing is, I had no idea what "improv" actually was. The beginner classes were a  tonne of fun, and turns out I love improv! I met some amazing people and it was a safe environment to get out of my comfort zone. I learnt so much. Thanks very much Aden and Ash who ran the classes.

Only the Human improv classes are suitable for all adults, regardless of your age, race, gender, cultural background, etc, to safely play and explore your creativity. In addition to having lots of fun, you are developing and growing your ability to connect and engage with other people. I highly recommend getting 'comfortable with being uncomfortable' by participating in classes or attending events. Sign up today!

Intro to improv classes are excellent. If you're thinking about trying improv, you've come to the right place. The environment is very safe and friendly, and many of your fears, self-doubts and what-ifs will dissipate within the first few lessons.  Free improv taster lessons happen every once in a while and can be seen in the website and I recommend you try attending those to see if you'd be up for a full term!

I am doing the intro class with Ash and Aden at the moment. Oh my god. I had no idea that Tuesday nights is going to turn out to be my favorite night of the week. The class gets you out of your comfort zone while sharing a ton of laughter with your class mates. Aden and Ash are doing an excellent job facilitating a safe space to explore and play

Just did the Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone workshop. I was an absolute beginner to anything improv and this was such a fun, safe, friendly way to stretch myself with such a lovely bunch of people. Totally recommend!

Loved the advanced class “Self to Stage” with Jay. Some great techniques to hone your improv skills all done in a wonderfully supportive environment.  Met an awesome group of people through the class, their regular mixer jams, and their monthly shows. A great place to learn improv if you’re a beginner and to stretch your skills if your more experienced.  So glad I joined and looking forward to more improv adventures with OTH.

I did the Intro to Improv course Level 1 and it was excellent. Aden, Jay and the OTH team have a really deep understanding of the art of improv, and they facilitated lots of different activities to help us to understand the key concepts. They also did a really great job of creating a playful, safe and inclusive environment - I don't think I've participated in a group activity that has ever been facilitated quite so well. Made a bunch of lovely new friends and had a hoot putting on a show at the end. If you've ever been curious about improv, but a bit too shy to have a crack, this is the place to go!

I've completed two classes and two live grad shows and loved it! Because of how supportive the environment is I've also attended improv labs for the last couple of months. The teachers Jaleesa, Jay and Aden teach you everything you need to know to gain skills and confidence to do improv. The classes are fun, encouraging and supportive, and you get to meet and work with some great people and have a lot of laughs together. I highly recommended these classes! Something I'm so happy I took the plunge to do!

I absolutely loved my experience with OTH. A Very friendly atmosphere which has allowed me to tap into something I don’t usually use or acknowledge within myself - improv. I was on the fence about going but this has been genuinely the best thing I’ve done in years. I went from terrified to comfortable and excited in the first ten minutes, and every person in the class turned out to be absolutely incredible. OTH has such a beautiful culture of support and encouragement that I’ve never experienced before, I always felt welcome and safe. It’s consistently the best part of my week ^_^
