My daughter attended this centre for around 2 years & honestly by the end, we withdrew her enrolment due to ongoing safety concerns.nnThere is a very high turnover of staff, this is inclusive of both management & also team leaders & educators in the rooms, they rely heavily on agency educators to continue to operate.nnWe had a range of incidents including terrible falls, an unexplained broken tooth, incidents with other children due to inadequate supervision, inability to follow basic instruction regarding my daughters medical requirements, horrendous constant nappy rash & the list could go on.nnWe did come across some passionate caring staff however they were few and far between & overall the standard of care and compassion for children & families at this centre are inadequate.nnMy daughter would have night terrors after every day she would spend at OAC Coonans hill which have since ceased after we left. She is far happier & healthier since we removed her from the centre.nnThe rooms seemed to be in constant disarray, my daughter’s belongings were always not in her bag & strewn across the room, she was always wet & filthy when I would collect her.nnThe amount of viruses that we picked up from this centre was OVERWHELMING. They virtually never send infectious children home & because they don’t enforce virtually any policy on illness, parents constantly send their children sick.nnI would advise parents to consider looking elsewhere.
We love OAC Coonans Hill! Everyone at OAC Coonans Hill is truly outstanding. Their dedication and pride in their work are evident in the positive growth and learning experiences my daughter has had. They supported us with our first time in childcare and also transitioning smoothly between the next rooms. I have full confidence in the safe and capable hands of the OAC Coonans Hill team. The love and care they show towards the children are heartwarming. My daughter comes home and has learned so much! I also love the daily updates that are curated by the staff to update us of what they did on the day.nWhile the cost may be higher, the peace of mind and quality of care they make it worthwhile. A bonus for the staff is undoubtedly well-deserved!!!
My 3 year old son is neurodiverse and joined the centre in July. He and our family are treated with such kindness and respect and the entire team make sure he feels included and cared for. This place is exceptional and they always make accommodations for my little one.
At first my daughter had a hard time settling in but all of the staff went out of their way to work with us. Now it’s only been a month and she is happier and happier every day! You can see that the centre is well run with lots of support and communication with families.
Great place. Both my kids goes here. Educators are friendly and caring. They do very good documentation of the kid’s growth. All good inclusive which I think is great less work for parents to prepare food. Highly recommended :
