This is a great place for a walk or run. It's not a huge area but it is very diverse and stunning. Especially in spring after alot of rain. The wetlands fill and the birdlife is extremely abundant. You can spot pelicans in the larger pond and the Onkaparinga river. The trails are well defined and stable under foot.
An excellent National Park with many recreation activities. There are multiple kayak launch spots dotted along the river and no shortage of good fishing spots. The walking trails are well signed and most have decent gravel. Prams can be taken on some circuits though not all. Plenty of wildlife can be seen, from kangaroos to pelicans. Mountain bikes, horse riding, and dogs allowed. NO motorcycles.
Great network of walking and cycling trails. Guaranteed to see waterfowl along the river trails. There is a local mob of roos that are active early morning and late in the day. Keep an eye out for kestrels too.nnAnd make sure you look where you are walking on hot days because... Snakes.
A beautiful place to walk around, few bbq stands will give you a chance to cook something if you want. A toilet and is also a fishing spot for those who are interested
