We are a full clothing alteration company that specialises in quick professional trouser and jean hems that can be finished in half an hour if necessary. We employ professional tailors and dressmakers and can work on all types and styles of garments. We also give advice on the types and styles of garments and explain what we can and can’t do with customer’s clothes.

I strongly recommend you take photos of your garments on you before you take them in, and again after they have measured and pinned your garment for alterations. I believe these tailors made a mistake while altering my dress, and not only refused to accept any responsibility but also made sure I was humiliated in front of other customers. I have waited weeks to write this review to make sure I didn’t leave a nasty review in haste. Never have I experienced such atrocious customer service. I was yelled at, I was called a liar, I was called a waste of time, and to be told I didn’t know my own garment as well as they did was unbelievable. I am never returning here after 10 years of patronage

I have used this service many times and have never been disappointed with the outcome. I know what sewing entails and I can't believe the unrealistic expectations of some of the negative reviews here.

Friendly staff,  very helpful, I wasn't sure if what I wanted could be done. They suggested a few options that would work. I'm very happy with the outcome. The price was definitely within my budget and the time frame was reasonable considering the work on my dress was extensive. i will be going back with all my "NOT SURE WHAT TO DO WITH " clothes.

i cant believe some of the reviews on this page. how do people go through life being so negative. I'm sure there is more to some of these situations than what some of these people have let on. 
Yesterday i was in town with my baby shopping for a dress for a wedding. Having just had my baby i waited till the last minute. i took my new dress into the One Hour Hem Stop Shop to have the straps and the hem shortened. One of the girls held my baby while the other attended to me. They made me feel comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for them. When i explained i needed the dress ASAP as i don't live near the city, they asked  the dress maker if she could do it on the day. 2 hours later i was on my way home.... Just because you don't get what you want when you want it, shouldn't reflect badly on someones business.

Arrived from Melbourne yesterday morning and needed to be fitted for my suit by 1pm. The wedding was at 3pm. Luckily the One Hour Hem Stop Shop has a Tailor working on Saturdays. Had my sleeves shortened and sides taken in. I was impressed with the friendly staff and quick service. Would recommend using this company.
