I brought my family for dinner at Omeros Brothers last night and it was fantastic. The food was tasty, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous too. Many thanks to our waiter Adams who went above and beyond our expectations to provide an amazing service. We will be back .
Sensational flavours, accommodating hosts and a buzzing atmosphere with classy vibes. I've always loved Omeros Bros even when I was a very young girl. All seafood tastes like it's fresh off the charter! We order the Seafood Platter, Greek Salad, Snapper and Salmon. It was all delicious! The Salmon was lovely a moist and drizzled in a light dressing. The feta in the Greek Salad was creamy and crumbly, pairing wonderfully with the greens. We had a crepes for dessert and what an experience, the chefs serves them straight on to your plate in front of you. Sadly, I found the brandy flavour too strong in the crepes and didn't enjoy them as much.
Food: Delicious Staff: Great Cocktails: Amazing. Especially the Negroni and Margarita Location: Quiet and scenic looking over the marina. Dress Code: Smart casual. Overall: Experience was amazing couldn’t fault the service or how quick and fresh the meals came out. Will return. Great place for large groups or events.
I was recommended to try Omeros as they have the best fish dish, the whole sole in lemon butter. Well, the recommendation was solid. We had calamari, scallops, the aforementioned sole and a delicious whiskey sour. Add some bloody friendly service and you have a meal!! It’s not the cheapest place to eat but at the same time it’s in-line with the rest of the restaurants in the area.
The reviews here are just a testament to how good this place truly is. Ambiance was romantic and service was attentive yet professional. Our steak and seafood were cooked to absolute perfection. Pasta was Al dente. Creamy snapper soup was absolutely light yet creamy with melt in your mouth tender fish. Everything was fresh and faultless. This experience was the highlight of my partner and I’s anniversary down at Gold Coast. Would come back again and highly recommend!
Party of nine at Omeros and, wow, what a fabulous all round experience. Location on the Gold Coast, Marina Mirage, exceptional, and at sunset, beautiful. As guests at a 50th Wedding Anniversary, our hosts can be proud of their venue choice. And Omeros can be proud of their restaurant as it is certainly very classy. However we came for food as well and Omeros delivered! Everyone was delighted with their choices from the three course set menu, choice from four dishes each course. I followed a previous reviewer, and chose for entree Avocado with lemon vinagerette dressing, and he was right, this entree is a meal on its own! And delicious, one of the best salads ever! For main, the barramundi, and the best barra I've eaten in a long time, 'fresh', I was told. And the chips;plates of golden chips placed down our table. Eat as many as you like. And I like! A fan of sticky date pudding, it did not disappoint. Thanks to our hosts for choosing Omeros, a beautiful dining experience.
Just finished an amazing lunch dining experience at Omeras, it was very good. Staying at Sheraton so right across the sky bridge into the shopping centre then a few minutes to this fabulous seafood restaurant. Service was exceptional, the meals were fresh and tasty. Highlights were the Octopus, Beer Battered Oysters, Mornay Oysters and Mussel entree make sure you order garlic bread to mop up the sauce with The Seafood Pasta could have used a bit more oil but it was filled with fresh seafood. Thanks again fora beautiful lunch just before we fly back to NSW. Will be back if we can!
omeros indulgence : @omerosbrosseafood : Seaworld Drive, Gold Coast : Omeros Bros is a multi-award winning elegant waterfront dining featuring à la carte and set seafood menus. Definitely the ultimate iconic Gold Coast waterfront dining at its best. : A hundred percent recommend the Omeros Indulgence Seafood Platter. A platter of $95 includes oysters, mornay, kilpatrick, fresh & BBQ prawns, calamari, baby octopus, smoked salmon, moreton bay bugs, mussels, grilled barramundi, scallops, served on rice and fresh fruit. THERE WERE SO MUCH ! I want to go back already!!!
Strongly recommend Lobster Monay and pasta seafood are fresh and tender. Lobster is huge service is great as well. Based on the freshness and the serving size, definitely a great deal. Fantastic sea view is a plus.
Maybe they had an off night, but the rave reviews here did not reflect our dining experience there at all. As someone who's lived around the world, worked in hospitality for over 20 years and has a brother who's a Chef, the food and service here was unacceptable, especially for a restaurant of this caliber and for those exorbitant prices. I feel bad for our awesome hosts who paid for a large group of people for a milestone birthday celebration. Because if it was me who paid, I would have had some serious words with management. Maybe they do better with smaller table covers, and if that's the case, maybe trim your limited menu a little further. Because quality trumps quantity every time in cases like this. The good: Location on the water. Mojitos were delicious, oysters were fresh, Turkish bread and spreads/dips were fabulous. 4 stars for this. The bad: Presentation of the food was nice, except the fish dish looked underwhelming. The mashed potatoes were WAY over salted, my mother and I could not eat it. Bugs were overcooked. The flavor of the seafood and steak was lacking, it was just bland and nothing exciting. No char flavor, no fresh herb flavor like parsley or tarragon, no richness or depth to the sauce. My husband is not a fussy eater, but even for him the food was very subpar. If you serve fries with the meal, sauces should automatically come with it, at least that's how it is in the States, we shouldn't have to ask a grumpy waiter who acted like it was an inconvenience for him to grab us some ketchup. One my my favorite restaurants back home serves a trio of sauces with their fries every time, basil aioli, fry sauce and a spicy homemade ketchup, super good, maybe you can use that as inspiration. Someone should've been more on top of the water top ups. We had to ask 3 times for a top up. And having to flag down servers for another cocktail or glass of wine felt a bit tacky. The desserts were also very basic, and whatever that inedible stale and flavorless cardboard thing was that came with my creme brulee was absolutely not biscotti. The only thing saving the dessert was the mouthwatering Fraisier cake our host had brought from an outside source patisserie in robina. All in all we had a wonderful time, but mostly because of the fun company. I usually like to give a place a second chance, but I doubt I can convince my husband to return.
