Fantastic creativity in the displays, and the associated stories were amazing. History of war isn't something I'm usually interested in, but these were inspiring and brilliantly brought to life. Quite pricey though - $25 each for the one hall which took around 45 min.
Amazing display of aeroplanes from WW1 era. Enjoyed by adults and kids today. If you breeze through and go 'yeah some nice planes' then you miss out and probably will rate this as expensive. You needs to read some stuff to understand the story behind the displays, then is becomes interesting and worthwhile.
Nice collections of planes. We did WW2,but I am sure we would have lived doing WW1 too! Guide was very helpful and happy to share stories.
What an amazing place. Need to allow plenty of time. The guides are dedicated & extremely knowledgeable. Would like to go back sometime
Went to visit WW2 expo, and this was great! Quite a few planes around 8 and very well setup. Actually learned quite a bit. And the people there are passionate about air planes and keen to share this passion.
Just amazing. Well organized and presented. Wonderful to see the provision of wheel chairs to allow longer viewing for a wider range of people. Exhibit and Cafe also very accessible
Absolutely a must see if visiting Blenheim. As a Recreational pilot I was very impressed with the restoration of the WW1 and WW 2 aircraft presented - many to airworthiness to be flown at airshows. Outstanding and something NZ can be proud of.
Loved it, one of Blenheim's hidden treasures. Well worth the visit
