The Olympic House Hotel is a fantastic choice for those looking to explore the beautiful landmarks near Kensington Palace. The hotel is located in a prime spot, just a short walk away from the palace and its stunning gardens. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, always on hand to provide recommendations and assistance. One of the highlights of staying at this hotel is the proximity to so many amazing attractions. The palace itself is a must-see, with its stunning architecture and rich history. The adjacent gardens are also a real treat, offering a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel is also within easy reach of other popular attractions like the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, and the Science Museum, making it the perfect base for exploring all that West London has to offer. Overall, the West London Hotel is a great choice for those looking for a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore the city. The location, amenities, and staff all contribute to an enjoyable stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, you're sure to have a great time at this hotel.
Right next to Paddington station with lots of options for food and drink. Small rooms but clean. Comfortable bed. Don't expect any luxury though. Good breakfast.Rooms: 3/5
First of all. I would say this is a solid 5/5 hostel but not so good as a hotel. Breakfast was basically just a toast. Orange juice was awful as was coffee. Our room was in basement and paint had dripped off from walls. Water pressure in shower was very weak and it required a bit of acrobatics to shower in there. Room was clean but to consider this as a 3 star hotel as it was advertised....well, it's not.
The elderly male receptionist shouted at my daughter a young solo traveller when settling her account, and asking a simple question about hotel rates. For this interaction alone, she left the hotel feeling dismissed and absolutely shaken. It was completely unnecessary, condescending, and extremely rude. I am sickened at how young female travellers get treated today - I know that if my daughter had been male, she would be treated with more respect. I would suggest you always check your account here before you check out.
Great location but “odd” service. Rooms are small but clean. Don’t ask for additional towel or soap. Not to mention A/C… Built like a long row of townhouses hotel. So any of them are like the other.
The receptionist was very rude. Rooms were very outdated but it was good enough for two nights. Breakfast was very unhealthy, no fruits anywhere. The location was good as it was close to the Paddington station.Rooms: 2/5
Good price for the room for one night. Would prefer to have tea and coffee available in the room rather than in reception. Breakfast was very basic with economy grade ingredients such as cereal and very watery orange juice. However this is a budget hotel so all in all a good deal.
Fantastic location around the corner from Paddington Station. Rooms on the small side but very clean, comfy and clean beds. Bathroom clean and shower was powerful and enjoyable after a long day. Breakfast handy if heading out early, simple but filling. Friendly and very helpful staff. Would stay again.Rooms: 4/5
This hotel has really small rooms. it barrely fitted our suitcases. We asked for 2 duvets, but the staff were not sure that we could get two. It was an ok place if you just should sleep there, the beds are really hard, and the room is not soundproof so you would hear everything thats going on outside!Rooms: 2/5
This place is OK. The rooms seemed dated and the chap on the desk didn't seem to understand English. The breakfast was awful, cheap coffee, squash and minimal choice of meats and cheese. It wasn't exactly cheap either. Sorry!Rooms: 4/5
