Baffling how this gets such good reviews. Poorly done takeaway shop burger, cheese wasn't even melted, for twice the price. Patty is that cheap, odd tasting, unknown meat blend you get at almost every fish and chip shop. Sundae is Tip Top ice-cream with a little whipped cream and nuts on top, for twice the price it should be. The place is nice and clean and looks like a good diner, just a shame about the food. If they used real beef and good icecream it would be a whole lot better.

I've been going to Ollies since I was a kid. Its iconic. It's still the same!!! We had a laugh with the guy at the next table eating a HUGE Banana Split. To be honest I had food envy. Im so glad Ollies is a popular landmark 5 stars with cream and a cherry on top!!! P. S take someone on a date here. It's fun.

Such a huge selection of ice creams that they can serve in a cup, cone, turn into a milkshake, or a thick shake. Iconic place that has been around for decades. Also has a few savoury food options that I haven’t yet tried. Retro vibes. Only wish that they had more staff on to cut down the wait times during peak Saturday evening times.

Best place for ice cream and thickshakes. Tons of unique flavours like Rainbow, Candy Cane, Gold Rush, and Choc Nut Fudge. Skip the fried food though and just come for dessert!

Ollie Dogs are yummy. Sundaes are the best. Very busy at 7pm. Worth the wait. Banana Split with salted caremel and coconut marshmellow ice cream; caramel drizzle x 2 and whipped cream

Ice creams were ok. The attitude of the staff were very poor and me and my wife felt quite unwelcome. One of the staff didn't even wait for me to finish the order and went to the next customer. Overall, very unsatisfactory customer service.

I used to love coming here! The Ice cream is still tasty with all the classic flavors + new ones, but I was sad to see that the ambiance has gone. None of the staff ever smiled, there was no music and no where to put your trash so the tables were dirty. Also, it's also a bit ridiculous that they don't have a bathroom given the size of the place.

The people working there are quite unenthusiastic, pushy, unwelcoming and customer service was not the best. No rubbish bins inside too. The workers are probably more enthusiastic chatting in the back than serving customers waiting. However, the ice cream were quite good. They run out of popular ice cream flavours so try to come in earlier but the rocky road one was delicious : The price was higher than what it probably is worth but overall 4/5

Place was empty when we got there. Ordered a sundae and a cone. The chocolate on the sundae was really thick and had a strange consistency. There were four messy tables from previous customers and dead bugs on the bench we went to eat on. There were also a lot of bugs flying around the store so we left and as I was driving noticed dead bugs on my daughters ice cream. Place is filthy and over priced.

True Auckland icon and one I have been going to for near 30 years. My grandparents took me here, my parents took me here, and I take my daughter here. Great selection of ice creams and food, the girls behind the counter always do their best, and has some good ol arcade games.
