Wow this was the most terrible Oliver's I have ever been to. My sweet potato chips were put on a grill to be cooked and burnt rather than chips normally being put in the deep fryer. The women working here are terrible and have no food skills as a normal cook knows to never put chips on a grill... Half the sides were burnt and the other half were soggy. Well done to providing the highest level of professionalism to making sweet potato fries that are hands down the worst decision I have ever seen a worker / company do to food. Contacted head office and have videos to provide. Thanks for ruining my lunch !
Interesting little restaurant, just outside of Maryborough. I am not really a foodie but I did like the butter chicken served here, not too spicy but still with great taste. I also grabbed a veggie juice and it was made fresh. There is both inside and outside seating, depending on what you fancy and a little play area for the kids. Next to an Ampol service station so good if you want a quick break along the trip.
Bought two black coffees from Oliver’s, and we were pleasantly surprised. Great coffee and friendly people, always a good combo!
Stopped in for coffees. Food looked quite fresh and good quality, albeit prices were a fraction on the high side. Nonetheless a well stocked and clean area to enjoy a drink or snack.Food: 4/5
Purchased the sweet potato fries, do yourself a favour & save your $8.00. There was about 10 fries in the box, when I went in to enquire if there was a mistake made, the staff were disinterested, slightly rude & blamed head office. Not to mention they were bland / burnt. Very low to no standards for a place that’s promoting organic healthy eating.
This place used to have very friendly and easy going local experiwnced staff. I've given this place another go a few times in recent months but my last visit was disappointing. The single staff member didn't acknowledge me entering the store, was abrupt when asking me 'what do you want to order' and assured me there was no spinach "only lettuce" on the peri peri burger. When I opened the meal, the "lettuce" was a mesclun mix... which had baby spinach leaves. This place is a firm no from now on.
Possibly the worst avocado on toast I have ever ordered. The avocado was very very thinly spread. The hash browns were strange tasting and soggy, the cappuccino seemed to be on old milk. Do not recommend.
We weren't given the heads up by staff that the lunch menu kicked in within 20 seconds of it changing after we asked is there another menu? Another customer advised us. Could have ordered something i wanted. Pity i won't be stopping by again...
Kids rice cakes are average. Vego pita pocket was okish. Couldn't serve currys. Didn't have sauce.Food: 3/5
Two words for the girl who served me today: energy vampire. Easily the rudest person I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Scowling and unhappy from the moment I said hi. I came in full of beans and left completely blown away by her behaviour and overt commitment to be sour. Avoid.
