This has to be one of the best bakeries in Thames & only a few minutes from Kopu Bridge, so whether you go over the State Highway 25a or the coast road around Coromandel stop in.  Great value.  They sell awesome coffee and everyday fresh made in the premises savouries, cakes & sandwiches.  Perfect for early fisherman’s needs, family picnics & work lunches.  They also have big cakes for special events.  Lots of parking for boats, cars, trailers & easy access into shop.

Arrived in town looking for a bakery and found Oliver's. What a lovely place, wonderful fresh food, try the big beef filled rolls. Great coffee and somewhere to sit outside too. Thanks.

I was hoping for a nice hot freshly made mince and cheese pie before work at 730, but what I got was a reheated stale pastry mince pie with no cheese from yesterdays batch. will not be coming to this bakery again, a pie from the dairy tastes better.

We wanted a really nice pie, so we walked past two main street bakeries, and visited Oliver's today. Oliver's does great pies well, at friendlier prices. We picked a classic mince and cheese pie, a lamb and mint pie my favorite, and a seafood mussel pie. We added a salmon and cream cheese stick. Yum.

Awesome gem of a bakery just off the main street. We didn't have any savouries but we did buy an almond croissant, caramel slice and danish which were fresh and tasty. Definitely worth the drive from Pauanui. The place was very clean and popular. Staff were friendly and the price was very affordable. We'll be back again! :-
