Recommended. Friendly, good range of fresh baked goods and cafe meals, pretty good coffee. Handy location on the plaza at Mahara Place, easy access to car park and train station.

The original Waikanae Cafe with great savouries and cakes at affordable prices.  The latte is good but takes a while, so sit down and relax.  Can recommend the bacon and egg pie with chips and bacon.

Nice staff but I’ve just tipped out the worst flat white I’ve ever had.

Such yummy food, on the board, menu & in the cabinet. The baking is so yummy too. Amazing service, great coffee. You are greeted when you arrive & leave. I do love the large space of this cafe. I can't recommend them enough.
