Our restaurant located at the Tempus Two winery, in the heart of the Hunter Valley, it has become a favourite for locals and visitors alike.

Story

Oishii offers a real alternative for dining in the Hunter Valley. The authentic Thai and Japanese restaurant offers an extensive menu including traditional favourites such as teriyaki chicken, beef or fish right through to sushi and sashimi selections as well as a variety of vegetarian dishes.

The food played second fiddle to the spectacular view of Roche Estate. The waitress we had was new so she was learning on the job. For the price they charge per dish they need to lift their game.
Good food! All the dishes are amazing here! Prawn fried rice was amazing!
Good food albeit pricey but much like the rest of the Hunter. There’s more Thai than Japanese but it is nice. Has Tempus Two wines on their wine list and one hot and cold sake option.
Japanese and Thai cuisine. Food fresh and well prepared/presented. Small but useful list of well matched wines. Great outlook from the terrace. Modest pricing. Friendly staff but few of them, resulting in slack table service.
Not sure if the chef was having a bad day but the pad Thai noodles and beef was very bland, hardly any taste. For the price I won't be back. Maybe the Japanese dishes are better?
