Love this place, decibel the best curry around. Their mango chicken is superb, no one has matched it any where to date. Staff are friendly, chef is a great bloke and cooks up a storm. They have some great deals and offer take away and they deliver also, which I use frequently. If you haven't been, I highly recommend you do. The menu is full of yummy goodies, you won't be disappointed.

Open 7 days a week. Been here many times but this time reviewing it. Of all the places that affected on long weekends this place is still open even on public holidays. It is a plus. Parking is easy. Meals are reasonable. Banquet deal is worth the money. A cozy place to enjoy a evening.

We ate here about 8 years ago and did enjoy and enjoyed a complimentary cd with the music we listened to that night which was impressive  . Returned here tonight as to be honest forgot about the place due to life’s adventures . Anyway .. it’s predominantly a take away shop with a small eatery . Nothing posh however has toilets and is clean and we enjoyed having full visual of the kitchen . Which was clean and you could see the staff are dedicated . So on to the the food . AMAZING . The lovely lady who served us explained everything . we asked about the hotness of the food and she made sure what we got was to our own taste ! Gentle and patient despite the fact  they were under the pump . As it was 7pm on a Saturday night . Each dish was as described . We had chicken Marsala and goat curry with entries . The flavours amazing !! Like AMAZING !!  Vegetarian options: A full menu

I chose mild korma but was way to spicy. I’ve had korma from other places and know how mild should be. Not enjoyable at all!! Bought papadams they were soft and not fresh. Will not recommend this place:

I've eaten from all the local indian restaurants, this is by far the best. Really great food, also good quality meat, no fat.

Oh Calcutta is a gem of flavour! Traditional Indian food with flavoursome depth and a good amount. Well deserved praise for this restaurant. Many other Indian restaurants don't have the hit of taste these dishes have. Well done Oh Calcutta. A long time wait to taste this food became overdue. This food is just brilliant.

First time back for over 25 + years. Was not disappointed. Food was delightful. Service good. Prices very reasonable. Will be back soon, no doubt.

The owner and workers are so lovely, and the curries and food are always delicious. They clearly care about their food and their customers and we’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences with them.

Ol Calcutta never EVER disappoints...you really have to try their Chicken Korma, Chicken Masala, Chicken Madras, Pragues Chilli Chicken Special and their delicious  Our favourite  Chilli, Cheese and Garlic Naan Bread. You must make sure to dine inn at Ol Calcutta as their dine in service is always a great experience. A massive thank you to Chef Prague and the staff at Ol Calcutta for my husbands and my favourite choice, both for dinning in and taking away our dinner. We love Ol Calcutta.
