Decided to get back into the Kindle. I was surprised by the price ranges of the various Kindle systems and models. As I am but a poor lover I went for the cheapest I could find and ordered online through Officeworks West Ryde as I have bought multiple electronics and stationary from Officeworks. I have always had great customer services and friendly quick efficient service. I think the Kindle cost me $179.00 which was about $5-$10 cheaper than other electronic franchises near me. I ordered overnight and all communication was swift and direct. Drive from Top Ryde over to West Ryde and luckily Officeworks was on my side of Victoria Road. However parking was a pain in the butz as you have to turn left into an alternative street before the service station because once you pass that last left you are trapped to either turn left or right onto Victoria Road. Hermitage Street is extremely busy and congested as AF. So make sure you park away from the store. Anyway great order and online pick up. Friendly staff who got down to business pronto. If you are addicted to stationary you can spend hours beaming at the huge range of stationary items. Intoxicating stationary experience.
The absolute worst Officeworks!! Every time I come here thinking it’s going to be better, it never is. Not enough printers and there is always one out of order, with a minimum 15 minute wait to use the ones that are working. Don’t waste your time, go straight to the Officeworks on Epping Road instead.
It’s on us for not reading reviews first before coming here, but could not have imagined it being this bad! I asked for a A5 brochure to be blown up and printed on A2 paper and they actually printed it on the A2 paper but the printed section remained at A5 size. When I asked for it to be reprinted, it took 50min yes, 50! before I asked for the last time how much longer it would be. I ended up leaving. What a waste of time. The attitude from the man was dismissive and ignorant, more interested in having a laugh with coworkers than show any professionalism, appreciation for customers’ business or a sense of urgency. What a joke.
Have printed numerous documents here and on a few occasions have had issues with the print outs. On two separate occasions I've had lines printed across my documents - I'm not sure if this is an issue of the printer rollers needing to be changed but at least check the document / service your printers before sending a click and collect to the customer and wasting their time going there only to have to come back another day. It would be nice if customers can purchase the specialised paper in-store and DIY print at the kiosks rather than book a print job online for specialised paper and wait a few days to collect a print. On a positive note the staff at this store are very friendly. It's just disappointing that I now I have to drive back again for a reprint and also no one seems to be answering the phones this afternoon so how am I to even let them know..
They do not honor their 30-day return policy. PLEASE DO NOT SPEND MONEY WITH THEM.nnI bought a cell phone and I returned it according to the policy within 30 days, new, unused, in its original packaging. but they did not accept it saying that the sealing wax was broken, obviously the packaging is open! but it doesn't say anything about that in its policy. The boy named Harry according to him who served me laughed at me and didn't want to help me. Taking advantage of the fact that I didn't know the language well, he ignored me for minutes until he left because they closed the store. It is a lack of respect for what they did to me. Horrible service, horrible how they treat customers.
