Officeworks should really provide cultural awareness seminars for their employees. I was supposed to be next in line, but the employee called the person behind me instead. After assisting that customer, she walked away to chat with her colleagues. I was in shock—I'm pretty sure, as a person of color, she should've seen me. Anyway, her name is TAM. TAM, it doesn't cost anything to be kind, you know.
Very nice young man helped my purchase a calculator for my son as he is doing yr 11 physics. I believe his name was jack.n5/5 would recommend for purchasing school supplies.
The young man with glasses and black hair, I think his name is Luke, helped my elderly mother figure out what type of toner my printer needed and was very patient with my mother as she isn’t too sharp nowadays, very good service will come again
This shop should stop advertising that they offer printing services if they clearly don’t want to provide them. The first time I visited to get something printed, a senior staff member scolded a younger male employee in front of me, saying, “See how this kind of printing should be ordered.” Other younger female staff members also gave me unfriendly looks and seemed visibly annoyed. I apologised multiple times, as I had no idea there was a specific process for placing a printing order.nnOn my second visit, I made sure to follow the instructions I’d been given previously, but a younger female staff member still made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience—despite the fact that I’m a paying customer.nnI may not be a major loss to this business, but I genuinely hope the younger generation of staff learns from this experience. What I encountered is not even close to what real hard work looks like. At this point, I’d rather order my prints online and have them delivered from Melbourne.
Just like to say thanks to DALE from office works Mildura, in navy terms BZ - Dale.nI went into do a bit of printing I couldn’t quite get it right and he came over and sorted it out foe me. Then I went outside to get on my eMTB to find it gone from outside the shop window. Dale helped track the times I was in the shop and time I left. He also checked camera footage to see if it covered the area the bike was seen racing off at. Unfortunately no luck but his help made it feel a little better that people had the willingness to help in something completely outside his responsibility.nAgain thanks Dale I owe you a few cold beers one day. Hope to be able to help him in someway down the tracknMark G
