Inadvertently paid an invoice twice as I had scheduled it for payment but then got an invoice in email saying it was still owing after it was paid. Paid it thinking it was owing... After discovering I had paid double, contacted them by phone and email but could not get a refund. Be careful of this company. They trick you by sending you the previous month's invoices showing they are owing even though they were paid. The accounts dept is not honest. The staff working in the store are fine, they get 4 stars.
Dealing with Pitt Street store has been a disaster from start to finish. Impossible to get through on phone to check on status of a computer repair- as in literally the phone goes straight to voicemail to say they can’t pick up the phone. Weeks and weeks go by before the computer is actually tended to. Now I get an email saying it’s ready so I’ve travelled into the store and they can’t find it. What a joke.
Huge store in CBD, very conveniently located. Self printing machines are located towards the end of the store.
Needed help with computing needs yesterday, team member Noah took time to walk me through my issue and possible solutions and recommendations. Very good experience 5 stars!
This office works is the worst one among NSW and VIC. The girls behind the counter are more interested in gossiping between them. They are not professionals in customer service. To get simple print out, there is the cue of 10 people but the girls are living in their world. Of course not recommending
Transaction # 9298209003621434 I went to Pitt St store today 5/03/2023 looking to buy HP printer worth $29 SKU # HPDJ3720. I got there and I was told there’s no stock in Pitt St store, the consultant I spoke with then mentioned there’s 1 unit is available at Glebe store, I even requested him to double check this information as I don’t want to go there for nothing. He confirmed the accuracy of the information he gave me so off I went to Glebe store only to be told that 1 unit is a display unit that cannot be sold. I ended up wasting my time and cost me more money $14 extra to get a HPDJ2332 worth $43. Shame on you that you cannot train your reps to provide valid information such a simple one like this.
Dreadful service. Print and copy desk woefully understaffed. Self print machine malfunctioned, after uploading and paying for prints. No-one around to help: eventually someone at the counter went to process images. Machine left in service despite being broken, so customer after customer kept having the same issue waiting for images that will never come. I hope someone at Officeworks gets some joy out of my wedding photos.
Completely unacceptable service. Bought an item for click and collect online and the asian lady that worked there with the blonde dyed hair did a bait and switch to a lower end model without any notice. Needless to say I left the store in disgust and will never come back.
If you’re looking to print anything slightly special, save your cash and go somewhere else. The staff at this Officeworks aren’t experienced in anything beyond a “basic print job”. The manager on duty today also had terrible customer experience skills, lack of empathy and customer care.
Genuinely one of the worse shopping experiences ive had for all of 2022. Took over half an hr just to get my photos to connect to their computers because of the instore connection, and when it finally connected no receipt came out so i had to get staff help. Then once i had a receipt and was trying to print my photos, the self serve printer broke down after 5 photos and the only solutions staff had for me was reconnecting to their printers which would take at least 15-20 minutes to print, or to reorder and pay a second time for the same photos. I ended up waiting for over 35 more minutes for these pictures, only to collect them and be given doubles of my first half of images ordered and the second half to have not been printed at all. I was in the store for 1.5hrs, left with only half the pictures i wanted and genuinely hope i never have to shop at officeworks again.
