Ok. The self printing section absolutely sucks. Don't get me wrong, the staff is generally adorable and helpful but the self printing system Is a joke. Most pods are broken, or partially working, and 90% of the time you have to go to the counter to fix everything and actually have your printing done. It's cheap, but you know why now.
OUTSTANDING SERVICE - I attended OFFICE WORKS today with the intention of buying office related items and to print off a 40 page document which is now executed via a customer DIY system. An employee named Callum recognised that I’m technically challenged and consequently & very politely took the time to assist me loading credit onto the printing card & taught me how print the lengthy document which will be very handy to know ongoing. The staff at the front exit register we’re also helpful, competent and polite. 5 x Today thanks.
Went in recently to look for a new laptop and to back up/ print off some old photos, had assistance through the whole process and sold me exactly the computer I needed! Best customer service in the tech section here!
I went in yesterday, to do a price beat guarantee on a MacBook. Cham the manager denied my request because shipping of the MacBook on Amazon is 2 weeks away. I asked him to show me on the website about that, he refused and claimed it as a policy, but no details to be found. I’ve rang two stores after and they said it’s fine to price beat guarantee on that product and I said I’ll come in to do the purchase. By the time I got to the other store it had sold out on Amazon, and I couldn’t do it anymore. I’ve rang customer service and she said it should’ve been fine and no problem at the time, she tried to assist with PBG but the price has changed since. In the end, Cham intentionally lied to me, laughed and I walked out the store embarrassed. Thanks for the lies Cham.
Great range and customer experience; this little store punches well above it's weight, and it has been going strong for more than 20 years... I keep coming back here
Gone are the days when you received good, polite and friendly customer service at OW. I was standing in line to pay for my items and was called and served by a rude Indian man who works at OW. This was the entire conversation add arrogant tone. Him: “Next waiting”. When I approached his counter not a hi, nothing. Instead he asked “are you paying by card” Me: “yes” Him: “Do you want a receipt?” Me: “No” Him: “Do you have Flybys” Me: “yes” When I was going to pay he said “Hold your card under the machine” Once I paid I collected my items and came. Not a thank you. Not a have a good day. Nothing. It was not busy at all. I was the only person there. Officeworks management it’s time to teach your staff some manners and decency. Invest in customer service training.
Insufficient staff numbers so service was slow. Once you do get served the staff are very helpful. Prices and range are reasonable. Free parking for an hour
Awful experience, wasted my time. I had priced match in the past. Clearly store manager terrible lied about price matching gift cards and giving excuses first saying it is stated on website which it doesn't. He said all officework stores rejected gift card price matches but reading on users comments in the forum, they had price match gift cards successfully in other stores very recently.
I had to go and get a photo printed and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the photo to come up from my phone. I had a nice man who tried to help me out and eventually directed me to email my phone to the email address provided and they'd put it on a USB. The girl at the print section was quick and efficient. I was also there to pick up a click and collect. The text said it could take up to 2 hours but it was ready in 30 mins. Awesome and friendly staff!
