Great big store, it felt like Christmas. The only issue & to me it was big, as I'd done my homework & checked online for items to be available in store was when I arrived the next day, the items were not available in store, only online. This needs to be dramatically improved upon please. Parking was on the small side as usual for OW. Other than that, I found the store great. Most staff were friendly & helpful & items were very reasonable & the choices were great. Thank you for a mostly enjoyable experience.
After finalising my purchase, I asked for a bag, the person slapped it down on the counter and called the next customer up. I politely asked if I could pack my bag first and they ignored me, just rolling their eyes at the next customer. However I got awesome friendly service from the floor staff.
I’ve had issues with online photo orders before and have avoided this store for a while. But this afternoon I went in to buy a few things, and didn’t know where to find them in the store. Each of the staff I encountered today was friendly, patient and super helpful. I could not fault their service! Faith redeemed!
Asked staff at entrance where to purchase Passport photos, he checked with another male staff member if the photos were available now, reply was yes, so directed to go see Printing. Waited for over 20mins being 1st in line, just to be told.. No, its not working, they are waiting on parts for the camera from VIC. No visible signage was up anywhere that the passport photo service isnt available, I looked around whilst in line. I then went to return incorrect ink selected & sold to me by OOP staff, printer was shown to the staff member on shelf before the selection of ink, $80 purchase made on 8/12/22 as I knew I had heaps of printing coming over next few months & didnt want to run out half way thru a job. Well I just ran out, went to put ink in printer & it didnt fit, packet was opened Ink was not peirced & still unused. They would not return the cost nor a credit to purchase the correct ink, yet happy to charge me for the incorrect staff selection. They stated they have a ink return policy yet have no responsibility within that policy for staff error so the customer who relies on advice is left out of pocket & without the required product. This store continues to lack plain customer service, today was no different, I have had many prior issues in this store: Printing card loading machine broken No signage its out of order, again just taking customers money. Again staff product selection, the wrong usb cord connection for printer, selected & given stating its the correct one. Today Murrey cant count & stated I cant have a refund because I brought the ink 4months ago, he got loud I wanted to report this service to Officeworks Head Office as I have just had enough from this store. I took a photo of being at the store today at the time I was there with the product and receipt on counter, this irritated him as I asked for both their staff members names, he again loudly stating .. take it to head office .. Customers have every right to complain about an unfair service & poor customer service. Hayley was polite & calm, she was finding clarification of the policy asking two staff members 1 being Murrey, she apologised for the situation, even the wait for a passport photo. I have never received this service at any other Officeworks in WA or in any other state.
Accidentally bought the incorrect ink cartridge for my printer and went into the store and asked if I could return for the correct one. The pleasant young lady at the counter said she could do this for me before an older gentleman assuming he was the manager interrupted and said this could not be done as it was not resellable as I had opened the packet. I asked if there was anything he could do as times were tough and he replied ‘not my problem’. I went to get the correct ink and noticed multiple packets had been placed on the floor with a sticker stating ‘change of mind’. Clearly, some employees allow for change of mind. Really disappointed in the lack of empathy and customer service as we all know ink is not cheap! Will not be returning.
We have to revamp Print & Copy. Currently it’s slow, inefficient, and a terrible customer experience. 30+ mins wait per customer to print something out. I am confident we can decrease this to under a minute with the correct approach. Let’s work on this.
So when I bought my new Pixel 6a it decided that it didn't like wireless networking, so after trying all the advice and getting around to it after a couple of months I returned it to Officeworks Innaloo where I'd purchased it. However I couldn't find the Officeworks receipt. But we did have the bank statement and I must compliment the staff whom I dealt with very much for their patience in pinning down the purchase in their records, real detective work on their part - it was Stephanie and Maree and Store Manager Steve. Thank you all so much, I picked up the refurbished phone last night and it looks good so far. The staff went to a lot of time and trouble and were very patient with us. Very much appreciated.
This morning there were approximately 10 people waiting in the queue to the service desk and one person serving them - unable to cope with some of the inquiries. The printer I was using run out of A3 paper and I had to wait a long time to have it refiled.
I have had some issues with the Cricut machines manufacturer issue not Officeworks. The service I received when dealing with an exchange twice in one week and sharing the problems I was facing, I was listened to and felt supported by all the staff I dealt with, especially Steph. She was there with my two returns and she showed compassion and sympathy even though Officeworks were just on the receiving end of receiving faulty products and had no idea. Thank you to the staff that supported me in finally receiving a working product.
Could probably do with a few more staff, most helpful person is the guy on security who is also taking card payments. He is carrying the store
