And the customer service award for 2023 goes to, Officeworks Windsor. I went there a week back to buy a new phone for my wife's birthday. I was standing in the phone aisle and no one came to assist. I then went to the counter and asked if someone can come and help me in the phone aisle. There were 5 people standing behind the counter. 2 serving 3 mucking around. The guy at the counter assured me that he will send someone. I went back to the phone aisle and stood there for a while. No one bothered to come. While standing in the aisle I even made eye-contact with the guy standing behind the counter who told me that he will send someone. But nah... no one cared. Then someone was in the aisle next to the phone aisle serving a customer. As soon as he finished with the customer I asked him to assist me. He came to me and said, "What do you want?". Having worked for customer service myself in the past these are not the words to use with a customer. Yes, I want a bloody $1000+ dollar phone for my wife. Officeworks if you are reading this comment and I hope you are, please give some customer service training to your people. Incident date: 24th of Feb 2023
Around 8.40 am on a Saturday morning, staff at counter, no smiles, just dirty looks and ugly tone while talking to us. Management need to know their staff are not up to standard in the manners. So disappointing and an upsetting way to start the weekend. It makes me not want to return to the shop. Usually, though, I find the shop very good.
I’ve never had an issue with other Officeworks stores but I had a not so pleasant conversation with one of the staff members at this store who seemed to struggle with customer service skills, leaving me not wanting to return. I’ll happily drive further away from home to another store just to avoid this one now. Disappointing customer service.
Last Sunday 26/03/2023 I walked into this store during the morning to have pages scanned at the service counter unaware that I was about to pay 50 cents a page until the scanning was done. I had 104 pages scanned totalling $52. I returned to the store after calling to be told the self service and was only 0.25 cents so I returned to the dispute the cost as it was a rip off. Got to the counter and spoke with a young lady which I explained there was no pricing displayed at the counter nor on there website otherwise I would have never had those pages scanned if I was aware of the price and would have done them myself. She spoke with whoever was on charge that day for a few moments and returned to advise that by no means was it there fault and kept saying that was there pricing on the system. I responded advising that scanning even if I had done it would have been the exact same thing. Please explain how scanning documents are far more expensive than printing or copying ? It is appalling that the same service but done with a staff member is twice the price,wont be a returning customer.
The woman who has dark skin in the printing section was super rude this afternoon, disgusting service, staff here used to be very good but not anymore. They got so many new employees now and they didn’t even have a soul to serve customers, my last two visits were very unpleasant, will never return to this place.
Went in today to print some documents waited 20 minutes in line only told to use self check out instead as I had 10 print jobs. They really need to put up a sign to stipulate the maximum you can print at the desk. The lady who served me dark skin with ringlets, and blonde tips was rude about it, didn’t apologise for the fact that I just stood in line… and got no service. When I spoke to Island about it, the “manager” she didn’t really give me much over the phone or an apology and told me to leave a review which is what I’m doing now. No apology on behalf of the rude customer service either! Every time I walk in, staff are so sour looking, grumpy and they are always short staffed then take it out on you when they are stressed out. Hint- don’t work in customer service if you can’t offer polite, good service. Oh let’s not forget they sold me a product in its packaging with no actual product inside. Hopeless. Incident occurred 30th of April 2023.
Went in on Saturday wanting advice on some devices to buy and was served by Jess She pointed me in the right direction and was very knowledgeable on what there was. Outstanding service even with how busy it was being back to school she handled it professionally, would recommend her to help you!! :
Officeworks has great products and hours but the young girls on tonight were incredibly rude. There was no one in line, no one to serve, I was quietly arranging the things to purchase and get my card to the side, and they were screeching "next please". This was 730 this evening so they weren't closing soon either. Next time Ill just buy from another company online, I dont want to feel anxious or yelled at when Im buying stuff in an empty store at night.
Thanks today for the fabulous customer service from "Whit" in the Print and Copy Department. Your time, professionalism, support and care was outstanding. I commend you. Much appreciated.
Came here especially to print some photos. Asked for some assistance as I'd never done this before, was reassured by an almost helpful staff member that it didn't matter because none of the self service machines were functional anyway. Suggested I try one of their alternative and some distance away stores instead.
