I’ve been here 3 times now within a week to print stuff out. The service is so bad and takes so long when it’s not even busy!! There was 3 staff members behind the register with only one serving. It looked like one staff member was doing a click and collect and who knows what the other one was doing. The most recent visit had only one staff member behind the print and copy counter and they were just taking forever with one customer! I think if you’re serving one customer at a time i.e. serving, printing, binding, small talk, checking over, finalising order, etc. there needs to be multiple people on a register…. That process took way too long. I’ve been second in line for 20 mins when all I needed to do was collect an order I had already paid for. Ended up getting someone else to come over to the counter and help me. They struggled to find my order for ages. Another staff member had no people skills, a younger boy…. Overall just bad customer service. Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, have people actually serving the customers in store.
Such a bad experience! I’ve seen previous reviews but never quite believed them until today. I made a few copies and needed to bind them. Literally waited in the line for quiet some time and then get told that it’s the pick up line whereas the signs were wrong in the first place. Never-mind, waited in the right line and then get told to come back in 1 hour 15 mins just to get them to complete this. What a joke right? Apparently the second person working in this section is on break and only one person is handling this. It would only take ‘her’ 5 mins to complete this task and she told me I have other people waiting in line too and need to look after them. Am I not a customer too? Even though I told her that I live quite the distance from here, she didn’t seem to care. Customer service skills - BIG ZERO! I’ve got this very same thing done the last time I was here and the staff that handled my task was lovely and got it done at the same time. There are literally enough staff in the store to rotate and look after customers but guess what I don’t think it’s enough Office Works . My humble request to the management is to get your staff together and prioritise customer service skills and rotating different sections with adequate staff so that customers are not just lost and waiting to be served for a long time.
Click&collect Go to the counter and show the barcode and wait for your items near the click&collect sign. Get items and check if they are all there. Done.
Price beat guarantee is a joke. Shown them an outright phone purchasing deal from Telstra and asked to match just because I was in the store and they refused it. There was no phone plans or any other strings attached with the Telstra offer and if so I understand they cant match it. This is just the outright purchase. Staff agreed and later turned down by the manager!
Don't go to this store for price match. The staff will make up every excuse to reject. I was trying to price match an iPad 9th Gen from Amazon AU before and then was rejected. Second time I tried Telstra sim kit match Telstra's website and still was rejected. I can only assume the price match policy for this store is non existing.
I've used their copy service many times over the years. Counter service has been great, copies and PDFs outstanding! Special back-slap to Matt and Luke behind the counter!
After speaking to one of the staff I bought transfer paper that they recommended. I then took the transfer paper to the print area to get my document printed to be told that you don’t print A4 or transfer paper for that matter. Stupid with a capital S.
This shop is exceptionally well run. I’d like to thank Kira for helping me out today with getting my standards printed He was absolutely under the pump but managed to professionally get through all the costumers and help me out with printing and binding my work books . Cheers mate your a legend
I literally had the worst experience of life here- Ms. Allina knew how late I was already- still refused to print my documents out and transferred it to the class other colleague. She was highly rude and racist. I honestly haven’t had an encounter like this before- will never ever come back here! They should train their staff member better- guess this will be a learning curve for them.
I went the whole way from Calamvale to Garden City for my son's passport photo, the girl with blue hair at the front register told me that the lady who does the photos left already. I was quite surprised that only one person does the photos at this place, I wasn't convinced though, so I moved to the other register to find out that the store no longer doing passport photos because they've changed their lighting system and it affects the quality of photos and it's been rejected by the Passport Office!!!! I asked them that they should've mentioned it on their website, surprisingly; the lady asked me to write a feedback on Google; so the head office can see it!!!! Because Garden City store don't have an access to change it on the website!! Such a bad service!!
