After a confusing encounter with the self service printing I needed double sided printing & I had printed single side I asked for help & was told they would be happy to print the other side for me on their printer. I thought that was a lovely gesture, except being told after the fact that they just charged me double because they did it. What could have been a lovely customer service experience is now a very negative one. I can see why the reviews for this store is so low.
Thank you Robin for EXCELLENT assistance in giving me the best possible print quality for my posters and excellent customer service with a winning smile, bright and happy personality! Excellent customer service from the young girl on the front counter as well - sorry I didn't catch your name. Sweet, chirpy, polite - so refreshing!! Well done and thank you to all at Officeworks Glebe. Such a pleasure to do business with you.
I went to the store yesterday. I would like to buy a computer. And there is no stock in the store. A staff, his name is Jack, he is professional and kind, he has great knowledge of computer and gave me many advices. He helped me a lot.Excellent customer service and nice personality
Incredibly rude staff. Will avoid eye contact with you like their life depends on it. A woman needed help with the self print and they did nothing beyond point to the machine and tell her that’s where the printers are. One of the machines jammed and they accusatorially asked if she’d touched the paper tray. 10/10 would recommend they change their staff.
Big shout-out to the staff here for being very helpful. Was looking for specific items and when it wasn’t available, offered some alternatives instead which I ended up buying. The location of the store is a pro and a con; on a great location and next to a University campus, but there is no nearby parking around. Store is of medium size compared to others that I’ve seen.
Visited the store today to have the worst customer experience with the on duty manager ROBIN, this individual has zero people skills, zero capacity to deal with something that required some Finesse. Management should probably look to returning Robin back to the loading dock. You’ve got no place being in front of customers. You demeanour and inability to offer a solution highlights you incapacity to hold a managerial role.
I'm going to echo what some other reviews have said, but the staff completely ignores you. I came in to use the self serve printing machines but when trying to get staff attention to ask about the required card no one will acknowledge or look in your direction. Ended up walking out.
I hope someone reads this review. I visited several times this store. It is a quite big and nice store. However, there is always issue finding someone if you have questions. Yesterday, I visited and wanted to know difference between two A4 size papers. No staff was around there, counter was busy, so then I asked other staff was doing something in printing area. I saw that she was busy. I asked her "May I ask some quick questions?", so she said "We are so busy here, someone else in there ...". So, here is point guys. Some advice to your store team. - Don't ever say "There is someone else" to customers. You busy, but we are busy here too. - Don't expect we have time for searching your staff member to ask questions! - If you are busy, please call someone else or let your manager or senior know it. You have some communication gadget, I saw. - It is difficult to know or remember everything, but try to help your customer. - If you said someone you are busy, please keep pretending busy, then we reflect your situation. Just 5 min later, I saw 3 female staffs were laughing and chatting. - Please allocate your team efficiently and provide more training! Other stores offer similar products with cheaper price. Why I should visit your store even your store is closer to my work.
Lights on.. Appliances on.. Doors closed Employees Mobile phones in plain sight. “Closed because of flooding” Nah…
I regularly use Glebe Office Works but two weeks ago they added a car park boom that doesn’t work. I had to park in the street. 2 weeks later the boom still doesn’t work. There was about 10 cars trying to get in. None could. Eventually parked in the street 10 minutes away. Extremely annoying! Told the staff. No one seemed to care. There was no clues as to how to contact anyone managing the car park either. Hopeless. Not coming back.
