I turned up there on Saturday afternoon to get photos printed was definitely a blessing in disguise that the printer had failed. Because my really good photos I wanted to get printed out weren’t happening until Sunday anyways.nSo thank you to the printer playing up. Lovely store, everyone was helpful that I asked when I needed help. People serving at the counters were helpful. Person at the photo counter was even more helpful too. Thank you. Lovely store.
Very disappointing experience with the print desk with a staff member called 'Sticks'.nnI’ve never encountered customer service delivered with such heroic levels of contempt. The unwillingness to help was so committed it felt rehearsed.nnI used the self-serve printers, which bravely accepted my payment twice and then chose not to print my files, a bold business model.nnI went to the print desk and politely asked for help. The staff member immediately diagnosed the issue as “your file is corrupt” without looking at it, which was impressive. I asked several times if they could please check the file, but they refused and continued insisting it was the file, not the printer.nnAnother staff member later helped me and successfully printed the exact same file without issue, confirming that the file was, in fact, not corrupt.nnThis also was not my first strange encounter with the same staff member. On a previous visit, I asked for help with paper selection after picking up paper from within the store. They told me the paper could not be used for printing, despite the fact that I was literally holding the paper, purchased from the same store, in a business that sells paper and printing.nnTechnical issues happen. Printers are famously temperamental. But customers should still be treated with basic courtesy and offered reasonable assistance, especially after paying for a service that has not worked.nnThe second staff member who eventually helped was professional and solved the issue quickly. Unfortunately, the overall print desk experience had the warmth of a parking fine and the customer service energy of a toddler mid-tantrum
The receipt machine ran out of paper at the register. Cashier was unable fix it and asked for help multiple times via his earpiece, but clearly kept getting fobbed off. I suggested an email receipt, which worked. Not the cashiers fault. When a staff member asks for help, they shouldn’t be fobbed off. It must have been everyone’s dinner time. Really poor. Huge queue behind me when I left.
A great place for all your printing needs and lots of other stuff to spend your money on. Staff are generally helpful, if you can find them.nBuses stop right out the front and underground parking is also available via side street off Ross Street.
Blonde girl refused to give me stapler saying they have stopped providing big staplers while on the contrary I saw that big stapler the next time I visited. She ignores me everytime I visit that store. Don't understand how these unfriendly and impolite people get hired so easily at these stores.
