I had a fantastic experience at OfficeWorks Garden City last night 4/2/2026 at around 7pm. I was helped by Yasmin, who provided excellent service, she was patient, and helped answer my questions about my DIY craft project and made sure I left happy and confident with my purchase. It’s rare to find staff who go above and beyond like she did. Can’t recommend this location enough — especially Yasmin! Thank you for the great service I am a frequent visitor to the place and to have people who are genuinely kind and friendly helps a lot especially when you are in a hurry or rush. Almost all of my visits there, I have been helped by the most amazing team there. Thank you for your help and service to the community. Cheers!
1st of all, the only reason this isn't 1 star is because of David! Hats off to ya mate, for the amount of abuse you would cop on a daily basis, due to outdated systems.n1. The self serve printing kiosk charges you BEFORE you do anything, whether you get your job done or not..n2. The only way to print from your phone, in 2026.. is to email them.. in a store that has no phone reception inside.. like no Bluetooth? We can literally tap our phones together and share photos.. but this billion dollar company wants to send customers out the front, to get phone reception, to email them?nnA very pathetic, and outdated experience, will not be coming back to print anything ever again.
I had a very poor experience at Officeworks due to unclear communication from one of the associates, which resulted in me paying double the expected price.nnI asked the associate how I could print some documents from my USB stick. Instead of directing me to the self-service print kiosk, or even mentioning that it was an option, she instructed me to insert the USB stick into the USB hub at her computer and proceeded to print the documents herself. At no point was I informed that printing this way would cost twice as much as using the self-print kiosk.nnWhen the receipt was printed and I pointed out that customers should be informed about the kiosk option and the price difference, the associate responded by saying that my question was not clear to her. If a staff member does not understand what a customer is asking, they should seek clarification rather than rushing to complete the task and leaving the customer to bear additional, unnecessary costs.nnOfficeworks has traditionally been known for strong customer service, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. Incidents like this—lack of transparency, poor communication, and no apology—do real damage to the reputation of a brand that customers have trusted for years. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve staff communication and customer experience going forward.
This place is the worst. I had to wait for over an hour to try print my photos. The place has absolutely no connection. When you try and go through the whole process of uploading your photos. It completely makes you have to go through the whole steps again due to the Internet connection at the facility it is horrendous. The staff were not helpful. I explained to them that I was having difficulty because of their Internet connection and they were very rude and abrupt. I would not be going here unless you wanna have Internet connections if you want to print photos and try print things. It’s going to be a significant issue as you rely on Internet connection ability for photos to be printed. Unfortunately this place was the worst I ever experienced.
The floor staff memeber that assisted when looking for an item was great. The store was clean and stock where it was meant to be. The only thing keeping this experience from a 5 was at check out. The staff member was nice and helped, but maybe could have smiled a little.
