Despite stock cards indicating many SD cards are in stock, this store consistently only has actual stock of the more expensive models. This is bait and switch tactic. Management confirmed this is a requirement, they are supposed to offer to order the item in for you. This has happened 4 times now at this Officeworks, each time our business needs to pick up a card in a hurry. If we wanted to order these in we wouldn't bother driving to your store.
Bought gaming headphones not cheap rubbish for $10 from this shop. The device didn't work, and I tried to return it the NEXT DAY. After a consultation, four staff members decided not to take it back, so now I am stuck with a non-working device. I am afraid to think about what I would experience if something didn't work after I equipped last FY the entire office with monitors and TVs from this shop.
I was having a lot of trouble finding a particular item and one of the team members walked me around the store until we found what i needed and she was such great help, and really made my shopping experience positive. Juliet has definitely made me a repeat customer.
I was helped by Anthony today and he was more than helpful, he actually offered suggestions and alternatives. Anthony is very personable which made me feel comfortable to ask him questions and as a result I actually spent quite a lot of money on things that I did need but rarely stay long enough to get them because it takes too long walking around trying to find things, with Anthony’s help today, pointing me in the right direction I was able to get everything on my list. Also the lady organising the photocopy was pleasant and efficient and suggested it may be better for me to come back for my photocopies, which was a great idea as I did have loads of errands.nI would also like to mention Neville who assisted me at the check out. He was very nice, proficient, reminded me about my flybys and a very happy nice manner. All in all I left Officeworks feeling happy with my experience.
Called the Fremantle store from the Canningvale store regarding a desk stock check, was told by the girl on the phone after she seemed to struggle to find it, that there was none in stock. The team member from Canningvale called up afterwards and he was told there was stock available, so they put it aside for us at his request.nnAfter driving from Canningvale to Fremantle, the boxes were brought out on a trolley and the desk frame box was in noticeably bad shape, looking damaged and potentially previously opened, which didn't seem like a big deal due to the fact it's a metal frame. Upon opening after a long drive home, we found that the frame had a piece completely snapped off making the entire frame utterly useless. I called the store regarding this and the guy who answered didn't seem to care in the slightest about this issue after leaving me on hold for nearly ten minutes just to find out if I can get this replaced at a closer store.nnWe went to Cockburn Officeworks before all this where we couldn't get a single team member to acknowledge us and seemingly rushing off to avoid doing their job so they could chat, then got lied to about stock by Fremantle Officeworks but thankfully had a very caring team member from Canningvale sort this out for us, only to come across this issue.nnWill be avoiding Officeworks in future and advise everyone else does the same to save themselves from this frustrating treatment.
