When I first saw it from outside, I thought it might be a normal horse with a work space in the garage. But wow!!!! It was such a pleasure to walk into the shop. So tidy and couldn't find a dusty corner. And Gabriel is such a nice gentlemen who explains everything with your guitar. And he has his own guitar brand which are HAND MADE! You can even custom build for your preference. Of course they come with a premium price tag. Which is well deserve. If you want to repair your guitar or custom make one this is definitely the place. Once you go there you will definitely know that your guitar will be handled with utmost care ☺️

I'm a professional musician and guitar teacher with over fifty students a week. I've been using Gabriel's service at Ochotecho Guitars for over 15 years, since back in the days when the workshop was in Fortitude Valley. While it's a long drive out to the current workshop at Salisbury for me, the long drive is worth it for the results I get. Gabriel's work is always consistently of a high quality. He is meticulous and may even refuse work if he doesn't think the customer's budget will allow for the job to be done properly. Last year I took a guitar to him that had been botched by another repairer, Gabriel raised the guitar from the dead and it's now one of my main instruments. Even though there are other repairers who are closer to where I teach guitar, I always recommend that my students take their guitars to Ochoteco for setup and repairs. Highly recommended.
