With five distinct areas for guests to choose a space to suits their needs, Oceans Dining & Drinks captures the essence of the Coogee lifestyle loved by locals. Wonderful evening at Estate!! The food was fabulous, the yellow fin tuna was delicious and the seared scallop was truely amazing. Loved the taco platter with the sweet and sour cauliflower being the highlight. They went perfectly with the margaritas. The cocktails were great and the staff friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to return.
Stunning setting and exceptional food. Last visited as a group of 10 and we all left feeling very impressed. Service was great and attentive and every meal was absolutely gorgeous. Have been here a few times and it’s always been quiet in the restaurant compared to other places in Coogee however it deserves to be absolutely rammed! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
What a quiet, tasteful, gem. Estate has a cool atmosphere and stylish, laid-back decor. The seating is luxurious and ideal for dinner service. There's trendy, lounge vibe music playing at the perfect volume to catch up 3+ years of lives apart. Welcoming and attentive servers show the menu and note the special offers. We were lucky to be on Taco Tuesday and no ordinary tacos they were. $15 for 4 soft corn tortillas with a choice of 3 fillings: Philly cheese steak, battered ling, or crispy buffalo cauliflower. We had a 2nd round of these morsels tasty to the last bite. Our 5 year old gobbled up his chicken schnitzel and fries despite being rather exhausted when we started. A little ice cream put enough pep in his step to make it to bed. The simple enticing desserts beckoned but we just couldn't have another bite. The regular menu is extremely inviting and certainly calls for another night.
We stopped in for Taco Tuesday. The service was excellent. We tried all of the tacos, fish, beef, cauliflower, and chicken. They were all yummy. The fish was perfectly battered, the beef was well spiced and crispy, the chicken were perfectly spiced, and the cauliflower was perfectly prepared, making them an excellent non meat option.
We had lunch here recently and came away feeling very average about the whole experience. We had grilled king prawns, and roasted pumpkin and buffalo curd. They were both ‘big’ plates, meant to be shared. The portion of ‘king’ prawns, three for $34 was so small that I actually enquired we had not been given a starter by mistake. After removing the head and shell it was a measly bite and a half of each prawn. There was no sharing on that plate, although it was tasty. The pumpkin, whilst tasty, was poorly presented. It was two large hunks, that looked quite off putting with their size and would have presented much better had they been sliced and stacked in a more appealing way. We left hungry and disappointed.
Every dish I order was excellent! Scallop, Green salad and dessert, Violet crumble chocolate cake. Nice atmosphere too, doors open to the beach!
The atmosphere was great, the place is really nice. We tried the bottomless brunch for $79. Cocktails were good, but the food was the worst food I’ve ever tasted. It was just cheap and nasty.
Exceptional neighbourhood dining close to the beach and super kiddy friendly!
New concept, new team, new fit-out. Estate Kitchen - food was incredible. Fresh flavours and cracking presentation. Spanner crab on cornbread was a favourite as were the smoked mussels. And the best lettuce I've ever eaten no actually. Must check out!
First of all the food was nice, although the customer service was below average. The manager was rude and dismissive when we enquired about a voucher that I had received from friends for my birthday. The service received was met with an unwarranted view of how I was allowed to spend it and it made me feel uncomfortable. For a beautiful venue, an up skill of customer service is recommended.
