The Wave – Ocean Grove Baptist Church desires to be a church of hope, love and faith in our community, nation and world. Our church family are filled with people who love Jesus with the focus to champion the cause of Christ, to know Him and to make Him known. Our church is known for its love and acceptance, passionate praise and worship, preaching of God's word and acts of the Holy Spirit.
We have faith that God has the power to transform and revolutionise the lives of all people. We believe that the Bible is God's inspired word, that it is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives. Our worship is part Rock n Roll and part acoustic, but always about Jesus! And we regularly share communion because that’s about Jesus too! The atmosphere at the wave is casual, reflective and expectant. The Wave continues to impact the community through its various ministries which include outreach programs for children, youth, families and singles.
