Located at 2 Addison Street, Shellharbour, New South Wales, Australia nI had a lovely time here, I had the Peri Peri Chicken Skewers for $28 Members Price and I thought it was delicious . My friend though had a chicken schnitzel and he didn’t like it, no taste and very tough he said. The hotel itself is designed very nicely, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The view from the balcony over the water is stunning. The prices are pretty average for a hotel/pub. Parking facilities are very good, plenty of parking. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend with no hesitation based on my personal experience. Thumbs up!
Stopped in on the 4th Jan for lunch & few beers, test cricket on tv, That’s a win. Muscles and steak for lunch. Bloody Brilliant. Steak on point for medium rare, muscles were gold, the white wine sauce jew was ridiculously good & some bread to soak it all up. Full credit to the bar bloke handsome guy in black the misses said the beeper didn’t work for food collection, found us and sorted it all out.
The view amazing - can’t get much better !! Whales breaching close to the Harbour entrance - perfect view! Staff friendly , welcoming & accommodating . Happy hour fantastic with $12 cocktails - highly recommend the cocktail ‘never be like you’ , Food - we had pizza & seafood spaghetti also a hit . Perfect arvonnHave also had the mussels - delicious
Our first time dining here and won't be the last. We had a perfect spot overlooking the harbour. We both had the sirloin steaks and the meal was perfect. Gluten Free options made it easy. Mash and vegetables and sauce to go with the steak were all gluten free. We'll be back!
I don't always leave a review, but when I do its because of the bad taste left in my mouth...nNo longer a fresh seafood restaurant which OBH was for decades, the hot and cold platter for 2 now comes with frozen/thawed prawns, frozen/thawed 'battered market fish' and an insignificant portion of S&P squid. Compared to pre-takeover the portion of seafood fish and squid which is what we came for barely touched the sides.nI was however full of salt, due to the excessive salt on everything. No not just the bed of salt rocks that the prawns lay on, but the extra salting of everything else on the platter. It overpowered the taste of all of the seafood, and besides not feeling full, that's what made the meal disappointing. There was also added msg in this meal thanks for the tinnitus, not...nNote. Overly salting food to encourage beverage purchases is not cool.nBut, I will thank you, because as a creature of habit, OBH you've motivated me to spread my wings from the known to try other establishments for future meals. Once the ringing in my ears goes away I'll consider where else we will next eat out :
