Very nice ribs at a reasonable price, strategic location,nice breezy wind to enjoy outdoor meals.
And old fantastic pub that's now had is soul ripped out by making it modern. The place was deserted where other pubs on either side who still have live music and an old comfortable feel to them were packed. Shame on you Observer, such a disappointment but at the same time thanks for the memories but I won't ever be returning.
It used to be my local pub. Every Saturday I would be there for a pint and live music. Staff would know & greet the regulars. They’ve changed it all more than once and are under new management. While it does not feel like ‘my pub’ anymore, it is still a great place for chilling out on a summer afternoon.
If your an Australian you have to go to this pub, just for its location, and that is what I did. It was great to sit inside with a beer and feel the history of the place, which is helped by all the memorabilia around the walls. This was really a great experience.
Great value lunch and just a stone throw from the cruise treminal.
Excellent pub! Great location, friendly service, nice beers on tap and the $10 fish and chips lunch special alone makes it worth the trip.
Nice corner place for meals and drinks. Food and drinks were served promptly and they were yummy. Nice to sit outside, great to be in a historical surround. Great for families too!
