This was a great park to visit. The shared road in cars, bikes, pedestrians was a bit different. The kids playground itself was great with a range of activities for different ages. The main tower was a workout even as an adult with a spider web netting to climb and a difficult entry into two squares underneath the slide platform. But once you get in there it's a great view. The slide is quite fast and dark. You will get knocked about in it but it's fun. The flying fox is a mix of a chair with a strapped chair for the younger riders. All the kids brought the seats back which was very well mannered. The walking tracks around were a bit of a maze but good take a picture of the map on your phone. One in particular had a QR code to explain things along the walk you would never know. The bath area was all netted and looked like a nice place to dip on a warmer day. I can understand why there was a swimming club built there back on the day.
A lots of trees and shady area. Nice place to see, but unsuitable for swimming. It’s muddy. Suitable for kayaking and jet skiing. Toilet and changing room available. Have a picnic spot and walking track. Pram and trolley friendly.
Steamroller in a playground? I'd like to see that. Fantastic playground for adventurous and nature loving kids. The playground sits in natural bushland covering a huge 45 acres and sitting next to Georges River, Lime Kiln Bay and Jew Fish Bay. It is a great place for picnics, recreational and sporting activities having a playground, a castle and swimming baths. There are walk tracks, cycleways and lookouts. There are toilet facilities around. The feature is the adventure playground - for a kids point of view review and tour of the playground search youtube for "playground hunter oatley park"
I have been visiting this park since I was a baby and now that Im a parent myself I am equally enjoying watching them enjoy the park. The transformation that took place in 2019 has been phenomenal. The steam roller from the 80s is still in place and you can still climb it under supervision. The incredible climbing tower allows kids of all ages to climb and weave their way through until they are stories high and reach the mammoth slide. This is not for the faint hearted though and we have witnessed a lot of scared faces at the top requiring a rescue, however if fear is left at the door then this will allow for hours of fun! The playground also offers a flying fox complete with a harnessed chair for smaller thrill seekers and BBQs and covered picnic tables. Its a great sport for a party. The surrounding landscape of the park is so tranquil and allows for many uses of the park including bushwalking, cycling and jogging. The park is full of history and is worth having a read up on that. The baths are a welcomed feature during the hotter months and the park attracts alot of wildlife and birdlife.Highly recommend this parkland and playground and suggest to make a day of it. My absolute number 1 favourite bush park, I come here for both exercise or when I need to go somewhere to clear my head, I couldn't recommend a much better park, the endless trails are amazing, I've done each and everyone one of them and there's one specific trail that went from a 40 minute walk to a 20 minute run each way, hard to describe on point how good this place is
Oatley park is a nice big playground for kids and adult! Equipments are made of wood and very sturdy, even adults find it hard to climb to the top! There are BBQ pits and plenty of seating area! Nice place to spend the day!
Best park near hurstville. Best for picnic with friends, family, kids.. n even chilling with the cool breeze. Bbq and picnic spots are plenty and carking space are around the park. Public bathrooms are at walkable distance.
A substantial park land with lapping beach protected by shark net. Great for a picnic, playground for children, nice walks, take your push bike. A nice place to visit our spend a few hours.
It's a bush haven in the middle of a very suburban area. Went on a public holiday, so probably not the best occasion for it, but managed to find the fun amongst the cries of babies and the stressed faces of parents of all ages. If you stick to the paths that are unmapped you'll find the most fun but can't guarantee you'll be safe from lots of spiderwebs. Oatley park is a blast
Nice little park with a variety of rides and walking trails. The walking trails Infront of the park leads to the waters but we could not follow reach it as we were going around in circles. Good place to host birthday partys and there were a couple while we visited the place.
