Tired over worked staff always on the run. My elderly mother who is struggling with chronic heart failure, has been pushed out to a rest home to die. Not a lot of good things to say. A nasty, uncaring system with little regard for vulnerable old people. Terrible communication to an 86 year old in a confused state. Absolute with holding of prognosis to family members. No apparent management plan to address her needs. Definitely being denied adequate care.

My fiance fell violently sick in omarama and the lovely ladys at st Jones ambulance service brought us to oamaru hospital. The staff were out of the world nice I can not thank them enough. And a special mention to nurse Marilyn who was so amazingly nice and helpful. Thank you so much guys
