The location was convenient to dinner and drinks with friends and very close to museum, and town hall station. The rooms are very spacious a clean. When we went to park the cat a random person was parking in the designated spot and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating towards us.

Terrible. Stayed for 2 nights. Apparently if you book the more expensive apartment suites they don't include toiletries like toothbrushes or showercaps. The service is a joke. Left our rooms empty from 10-2pm... wasn't cleaned. Then we called for some fresh towels -we were told they'll be sent up. Half an hour later we called again and they told us 'oh housekeeping will eventually get to your apartment but we'll send some up soon'. Another 45 minutes later, after a call to the manager, the housekeeper finally arrives.. Get towels from her. Then 5 minutes later she knocks again saying reception just told her our room called for housekeeping .. Seriously? The apartment suite we booked also looked nothing like the photos where it's nice and furnished-one couch, coffee table and a giant swath of empty space. Wonderful if I wanted to practice ballroom dancing in the apartment... not so great if you actually wanted like you know.. furniture or have more then 2 people sit on a couch. Overall terrible experience.

My friend and I had three nights booked at the oaks this past weekend. After one night we had to leave due lack of sleep thanks to the loud street noise that felt like we were outside at ground level and mothball smell of the room. The bathroom had mold and the room has a general feeling of dirtiness (poorly vacuumed carpet, stains on couch). You have to pay $18 a day for wifi which is just insane. The hotel agreed to refund us for the two nights and then agreed not to charge us for parking, I have since found out they did charge us for parking. Honestly it's the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel and I travel at least every fortnight.

1. Air-Conditioning - when he got to his room after an all-night flight, it was very warm and it took a couple of hours before it began to cool down - made it difficult to sleep 2. Ironing Board - not one in the room, when he asked reception for one they seemed to find it a very inconvenient question 3. Television - some local TV stations not being received, eg Channel 7 Olympic Coverage 4. Payment required for internet - this seems at odds with what was advertised, and when he questioned reception he was told that was not part of his "package" 5. Room itself looked like it had not had any maintenance in quite some time.
