We were very hesitant to stay here after reading all the negative reviews. But this place is actually fantastic! Great place for kids, awesome areas for relaxation and fishing.nDon't believe everything you read, go and experience it for yourself! This is a great park, we will be back!!
Sadly our 2nd visit to the park over the December period was not much to speak of. Paying an absolute premium price as parks go from day one we experienced rolling power outages as we did the previous year, something we thought would have been addressed. The ablutions were poorly maintained with the men’s urinal blocked for over a day. The ladies had 5 showers, one of which was out of order during peak season and one with almost zero water pressure for our full 9 night stay. Of 4 washing machines 2 were out of order and when we did put a load on the power promptly failed with the machine full of water and clothing, the power only returning at 10pm. The previous year there was live music at the pool bar, this year nothing at all and the bar closed by 6pm. Half the pool tables have also been removed. The booking terms state no electric scooters but we were dodging electric motorcycles at one stage tearing around the park with nobody enforcing any of the rules at all. When I did raise a complaint I was told I’d hear from management within 24 hours two days later when I followed up I was told to send an email. I was granted a 10% booking credit as compensation but considering how many times the power was out and the other issues I’d hardly say this is fair compensation. The park has many decent offerings but is seriously overpriced in my opinion. We have lodged a deposit for December again but only as this site was originally a friend’s regular December destination and we will look to hand the booking back to them. We will not be returning.
We arrived and realised our van was bigger than the size I had said so the site was too small, called reception and they swapped for a larger site, no drama, just swapped us.nPools were great, pump track lots of fun, and a lovely walk along the water to town.nWe will definitely go again.
Reception staff were so polite, bar staff great!nUnfortunately the freezing pools & no heated spas were a complete let down. The cabin floor was really dirty. Escalated to staff, which were really apologetic. Over all .. our kids had a great time but would be even better with a heated pool are or spa.
Hired a superior 2 bed cabin for 2 nights. Room was new and fresh, lovely coastal vibe throughout. The park had great amenities and even though the park was quite busy there was adequate space for all. Kids loved the splash park and swimming pools.
