What a wonderful experience, stayed here for two nights, been here a number of times, great clean rooms.nGood coffee & food, location.nBeautiful staff, especially want to mention Eddie, our concierge.nFriendly and helpful, kind, knowledgeable of the area, made us feel welcome.nMade the stay fabulous.nThank you Eddie your awesome.
Definitely luxury hotel. The room was great. The staff were nice. There were a lot of rich people and like party people. Almost felt like a hotel in Vegas. The room was quiet though. Good location. I was able to walk through the neighborhood at night to get to a good Italian restaurant nearby.i suppose it's worth it if you want to treat yourself. The pool is an outdoor pool so I wasn't able to use it unfortunately due to the weather.
Room deluxe - spacious, a little bit dusty, slipper not provided. Overall still quite clean. The heater is not really working.nnSmall gym and small pool. Nothing fancy.nnBar area and lobby - amazing! Very comfy!nnService is good - kudos to the staff.nnThe location is great - walking distance to Sydney fish market and Chinatown.
The hotel was very good. I've stayed there multiple times and the facilities are great. You should probably tell guests about the obstructed harbour views. I was not the only patron who was not informed and paid for an upgrade to a better view that wasn't what I was expecting. Whilst not your fault, transparency of the situation would be appreciated.
Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour is in a great position, with a light rail very close and walking distance to the city and Darling Harbour.nnReception were busy, but the wait was minimal and they had a room ready for me in the afternoon.nnThe room, I was disappointed with. The bathroom grout was dirty and cracked tiles, I am thinking maybe my room is due to be renovated?? But certainly needed work. The beds, chairs and table were comfortable.nnLifts were always available, even though it was a busy weekend.nnBreakfast was great, lots of options. Nice and fresh, I was pleasantly surprised how big the spread of options were.nnEven though the bathroom wasn't great, I would recommend as it is in a fabulous position.
