Absolutely awesome food, huge serving sizes and excellent coffee. Recommend the chowder, potato skins and squid salad. Delicious and conveniently adjacent to one of the best yarn stores in NZ! Best cafe in Ashburton.
Outside seating is in a lovely garden. Despite not many vegetarian options being offered on the menu, the chef apparently also a vegetarian was able to improvise an awesome vegetarian pasta dish. The soup and iced chai were yummy too!
Great coffee, friendly staff. A bit expensive prices, but totally worth. I recommend!
Good food, great environment but prices are a bit over the average. The service is also great.
Having visited this cafe I'm concerned. Concerned that nothing will ever match that breakfast experience. The food was superb. The setting cute. The staff welcoming. I would say that I wish all places could be like this. But then I'd be the size of a house and bankrupt. So maybe just make sure you swing by here if in Ashburton.
Our regular Sunday morning breakfasts are always the best. Great service, fantastic coffee, great cabinet food and great kitchen. It’s busy because it’s good. The outdoor sitting areas are great on a nice day too. Best cafe in Ashburton.
Great service and great food
Has a good service and nice quaint place for breakfast. Had the fisherman basket, looked mostly made up of frozen prepacked seafood. Was expecting fresh seafood. Tofu stack that we had was quite good though.
