Dr Trent Sandercoe was my child’s ophthalmologist that was referred to me by another gp. I didn’t have a good experience with this doctor.. it was like as if he was in a rush to send me off . The approach was rash.. I’m sure that’s not how you handle kids .. u have to empathise with them when they struggle to read … clearly the child was having difficulties to read and all he had to say throughout the consultation.. “ let’s be quick and get this done .. and my child was not crying or wailing out loud. He was really harsh to the child where it became too strict .. and finally my kid said I don’t want this doctor anymore. My child was highly cooperative except for the fact when the drops was instilled into the eye. Even then the child didn’t scream and yet he was too strict and rash. No explanation of what is going to happen and what’s being done by the doc .. In comparison the nurse was exceptionally good . She was a gem and my child was totally comfortable with her. A healthy person doesn’t see a doctor , it’s someone who lacks .. so try to be a bit more empathetic. After all I’m paying out of my pocket and specialist appointments don’t come cheap , so I expect better services, unlike this one.
The most professional, friendly, helpful and caring all 3 receptionists, from all medical establishments in Sydney. From all cardio, orthopaedic, gastro and all dialysis clinics. Great, all deserve rewards and medals. This is what customer and medical services should look like.
Dr. Anne Lee has provided me with excellent eye care for a number of years....recently she performed cataract surgery and a lens replacement with excellent results....If you are under Dr. Lee, you are in good hands........
I have been a patient of professor Andrew Chang for the last few years ,on july 27 ,I had a booked appointments with the professor.When I entered the reception,I was told to cover my face with the mask.I replied that I never cover my face and I have medical exemption.After a few minutes, the receptionist told me that dr.Chang would not examine me because I am big threat to people in this clinic.A few years ago I was diagnosed with macular degeneration,and this disease has to be under control.I would never think that doctor would refuse to help a sick person.I'm 65 and never thought I would be treated like this
The best in the industry. Dr Chang is great. Friendly staff that are always willing to go the extra mile.

The doctor was obviously was a clearly a good doctor, but terrible with kids. My child was pretty upset and I am sure a frustrating patient, but the doctor was not kind or comforting and was clearly mad at my 4 year old child. My follow up letter was weirdly very passive aggressive that my daughter was a difficult patient. To be fair she did not enjoy getting several rounds of eye drops but the lack of compassion and empathy, and clear anger towards us made the experience worse. We were already stressed. Perhaps this doctor should not work with children.
