Fresh seafood outlet with dining or takeaway options for in-house cooked meals. Very local business offering more cooked food options than from their previous store. Had Chowder and Marinara Pasta and it was delicious. The fish tacos I am also now a fan of. Others options like poke bowl and bubble tea. Will go back and make it a habit to eat there on Norton Street.

A really good fish and chips joint for great prices; their fish and chips are always very tasty, and they have a great range/ variety in their menu. Their meat burgers are also really good, their beef burger is quite possibly better than their actual fish and chips. Purely for fish and chips taste wise I would say Johnnies edges them out, but their services is more pleasant, a bit faster, cheaper, and with more sides/options. Various fishes can also be purchased her raw to cook at home later; the prices and quality hold up very well here too.
Look, it’s not your fancy pants cutting edge wannabe fish shop, but I have been eating here regularly for the last 10 years and the quality is always 10/10, they know how to grill, all the salads are fresh, overall simple and reliable. Nothing says good like returning customers.
It’s really hard to find good fish and chips these days. This place is great, the fish is never too oily unlike other places. Their seafood platters are also great when entertaining.
Staff were lovely, today is my cheat day, and I love seafood so I really wanted to like this meal Unfortunately not a single part of it was memorable. I bought the crumbed fish and chips and calamari and seafood stick but they were all bland and not redeemed by the home made tartar sauce which just tasted of oil.

I have been twice, and on both occasions, I was really happy with my meal. My fish and chips were arguably the best I have had in a long time. The fish was not overly battered, and the fish was so delicate that it melted in my mouth. Yesterday I ordered a hamburger with the lot and small chips. Again, everything was so fresh. I could taste each ingredient, fresh lettuce, fresh tomato, fresh beef mince. It is clear that they go to a lot of effort to prepare as much as possible on the premises. My colleagues from work have started going there - the smell of their chips is really inviting :- Happy Seafood is brand new and VERY CLEAN. Well done, I hope this business does very well. Let's hope that Happy Seafoods is the turning point that will bring life back to Norton Street.
Amazing fresh seafood. Great variety on the menu. Love the grilled fish. Chips are delicious. Very friendly staff. My new fave local.
