First visit in a while after watching a great game between the she-devils and Brisbane Tigers. Really impressed with the latest menu and how many really tasty vegetarian options there are. We had the fried cauliflower, gnocchi, vegan rendang and the apple & rhubarb crumble - all delicious & generous portions. Great work by the kitchen in coming up with non-standard vego fare.
Fantastic park area. Lots of sports clubs around. They are usually busy in the afternoons and evenings with events. But if you go early in the mornings, beautiful grassy area to walk or run.nnYou can make a loop through the Nundah Historical Cemetery area and come out in the hub of Nundah.
What an amazing steak!nOrdered the lunch classic steak, on the cheaper side.nDid not anticipate how great the quality and flavour was going to be. It had a great steaky flavour and was cooked dare I say to perfection, at least for me.nCould easily tell the quality of the cut was top notch.nWill be trying the bigger steaks another time, for sure.nnThe team has done an amazing job securing food quality and cooking skills. Well done Norths Devils
Not a fan sorry. Waited 1.5hrs for our lunch on Sunday and when our meals did finally arrive they were barely warm. The meals must have been sitting somewhere in the kitchen for some time before we received them. I had garlic prawns and paid more for extra prawns!!!!! There were 7small prawns in the garlic sauce and it was lukewarm at best. To add to that some of us didn’t get the ‘discount’ off our meals. Staff said ‘oh the card mustn’t have scanned properly’. Sorry but not sure we will be rushing back. We were a family group of 9.
Held our high school 30 year reunion in a section of the beer garden here Saturday night.nnThere was a bit of confusion over the venue area and with the timing of the food but we worked everything out. The food was delicious. Everyone had a fabulous night catching up. We used one of the large screens for our slide show and a powerpoint presentation for our quiz. Unfortunately, we had to postpone some of our speeches and quiz until the function right next to us finished their presentations as the audio was too loud next to us for us to use our microphone.nnThe communication with the event manager could've been a bit better but all in all the night was a massive success!
